As far as I'm referring to teamcomps, it refers to a potential draft of 5 champs that plays roughly the same way--representing a certain strategy. Within that teamcomp, certain champions may be interchangeable because for the purpose of that team they accomplish the same role. You can "discover" a few individual champions, but still be copycatting by slotting those champs into existing teamcomps. You're just saying they have no strategy. I'm just saying they copy FotMs/what other people are doing rather than finding one that works for them.

WE is such a heavy favourite for IPL5 now, given the collapse of Blaze and the predictable mediocrity of M5 in comparison. TPA is strong, but they have lost their biggest advantage over WE - their map control. All lanes favour or are even for WE and the jungle only slightly favours TPA now imoimo. Holy shit, I'm so proud of that little strawberry. All grown up, not feeding first blood and giving space for Weixiao to farm. Sometimes he even carries the midgame. Misaya is playing a lot more passive these days, but when he's roaming, he's getting kills for his team. ClearLove is the big change for WE, as seen this tournament. ClearLove, Misaya and Caomei are so strong this tournament that they almost have games won by the midgame before Weixiao reaches 15 cs/min. Actually, Weixiao/fzzf is such an aggressive AD/support lane that Weixiao usually gets kills before 10 minutes and fzzf finishes aura items before 15 minutes. Anyway, WE now faces their bogey team, CLG.eu and I can't see them not taking it, even if it is a 2-1. WE's versatility and ability to have controlled aggression should have always given them the advantage over CLG.eu even historically, but for some reason they always managed to chuck everything they knew out the window in the picks/bans phase in their previous match-ups. I hope they don't screw it up again and Misaya and Caomei actually get smart picks and do their proper jobs. I predict WE > TPA in winner's bracket finals, Blaze > TPA in loser's bracket finals and WE = Blaze in the grand finals (really hard to say if Blaze even if Blaze is currently weaker individually since Korean teams are the masters of preparation and at sniping single teams).

But that is for the whole NA scene except for dignitas. They are watching the other regions play and trying to copy that but you see now... that they are always behind with their teampicking and lev1 fights. CLG.Na is the least behind the other regions but they still have lot to learn and i hope that season 3 is really going to be an eyeopener for the scene, but i think that is a fairlytail that no one believes except the fanbois. Wolves beat them with Yorick, Cassiopeia, Ashe and I was watching from TSM's POV, after losing they were saying how good that comp was and that they should use it. Couple of months later they were actually winning NA LANs with that comp and everyone was "omg genius!" on Reddit. Edit: found a VOD: + Show Spoiler + Their whole line up is an M5 set up... gj finding.

TD looked better than I expected yesterday but CRS still heavy favorite in my opinion. Regardless of winner, calling either team a heavy favorite won't happen again the rest of the tournament. Poor, poor NA.
