Why do you feel bad at Idra, He's doing the same we're all doing, except he's doing it for more than just personal reasons.
He already does a lot for the community, especially the Western Community, and he decides not to commentate on streams, that's his choice, and it's justified by people who would use it in a negative way.
It's very easy to talk about 99% of these topics without getting warned or banned by mods, and even if that does happen, it's not the end of the world either.

On stream he said day9's rts fundamentals were excellent, but his Sc2 specific game knowledge was spotty since he hasn't played it at a pro level or put the time into it to have as full a knowledge as Idra. He was very respectful towards day 9 through it, and didn't sound condescending at all to me.

Too bad Idra won't be streaming for 2 days. I was really enjoying his commentary, and so were 15-20k other people. Feels very silly that he "punishes" his loyal viewers for getting himself banned from the forums (and rightfully so). It's a lose-lose situation for everyone.

Whether it's an act or not, no one knows. But I know one thing, it's gotten him a huge fanbase that he can monetize. Can Cruncher or TT1 say the same? I don't think so. IdrA brings skill and personality while the two I previously mentioned only bring one, which "one"? I'll let you decide.

Are you defending someones right to call another person a waste of life on here ? TL admins hold the forum to a high standard of no insults and so on and a star player like IdrA does not get special treatment in that regard.
Test calling someone a waste of life and a cheater on here and you'll be permanently banned, IdrA is IdrA so he only gets a 2 day ban and should be happy about that.

I'm surprised this post didn't get you banned... I do agree with you though. Opinions are just that, opinions. Stating your opinions should never be a bannable offense in any situation.

and the 300$/hr charge for his coaching
and the 0 idra replay packs at least to my knowledge

Prior to that incident there was the EG vs ONE teamwar in SGL, where Idra wasnt allowed to play (organization error, but ONE could've allowed it) and the ONE leader (on page2) said "But with the disrespect IdrA has shown my team in the last few days and the comments he has made, I have no reason to do him any favors."
Cruncher was a sub for ONE (I think he was a ONE member, dont know) and he played (and ONE beat EG).
Prior to that (and I think there are some references in that SGL thread) Idra called Cruncher bad (maybe more). I think it was during JP and Friends featuring EG.IdrA but I havent watched that just speculation since during the 1st youtube vid Cruncher is playing.
If there was something earlier - I dont know.
