Deezer should have been banned long ago, or atleast the stream sniping should be fixed by blizzard long ago.

And as far as the situation with the stream being unfeatured from TL. I highly doubt that would happen. Its not like destiny did anything wrong against TL, and he doesn't use his stream as some sort of weapon. As far as I know, TL doesn't really like Deezer/CombatEx.

-_-. It's to the point of stalking -- watching someone play and being a spectator/sending a friendly or trolling message every once and a while is fine, you're just communicating with someone who basically puts on a show every time his stream is running, normally you can't do that sort of things with TV shows. Deezer, on the other hand, stalks him, watches his every move, stream snipes AND cheats. If you look at his match history, it's only with people that are featured streamers. It's pathetic. I guess we're assholes if we don't let someone bully other featured streamers, right? I mean standing up to those assholes back in elementary school wasn't something we learned. /sarcasmoff

Being that Destiny is in the open pool in let say mlg, he would have to win something like 13 bo3's to win it and get a measly $5,000. I understand notoriety and exposure are something that comes with LAN wins but is it really worth it for him when there are tourney with bigger price pools that he can participate in and not lose practice time? Also, he is not on a team so he does not have to conform or blog a certain number of times, or put on a face for anyone because he streams unlike other popular Progamers that do try to act like angels on camera but anyone with a brain can feel the condescension seeping through which makes them feel like "sell outs" in my opinion. And I'm sure his honesty is directly connected to the 8k viewers he gets constantly whether he is laddering or showing the viewers insightful (and funny) videos. And that honesty is why i think Destiny is indirectly helping e-sports whether he wants to admit it or not. ![]() Just my thoughts......

I'm actually scared about the repercussions of this spamming issue.

So that means he can't stream at all anymore because some asshole decides to camp his stream and snipe him. That sounds very, very fair.

If anything, I think the community should be mad at Deezer more than anything. It reminds me of a little kid being bullied at school, and then asking his brother to help him. As much as it is debatable as to whether the act of asking for the older brothers help is right or wrong, at the end of the day the little brother doesn't control the older brothers actions. Destiny cannot force 5000 people to spam Deezer, just like a little brother can't force their older brother to curb stomp someone harassing them. To those that don't regularly watch Destiny stream, Deezer harasses Destiny to no end with his stream sniping/cheating/trolling. Plus, the battle.net interface allows someone to snipe as long as someone is on your freinds list... you can literally add anyone to your friends list.

Although Deezer's the most known person for doing it atm, that's a really good way to get some fame. Just stream snipe the streamers with the highest viewer counts, I wouldn't be surprised if this became more common. I can't understand why you can't just block people completely or have your status not show or appear offline.

Yeah, especially if we have this attitude where lashing back at stream cheaters/snipers is a bad thing, many pros might just stop streaming altogether like they stopped posting in the TL strategy forums. That is bad no matter how you look at it.
