Why is this stream featured on TL again I admit it was fucked up, but Deezer is proud of stream sniping... hard to feel remorseful for him. Hell Destiny told people to stop spamming Deezer after a while. Deezer making death threats though didn't help either ![]()

Why is this stream featured on TL again Yeah that was just wrong. I would agree with him getting a warning from Blizz for that. The thing is just that Deezer has been harassing Destiny for weeks now, constantly stream sniping and stream cheating. I know that Deezer is breaking the rules does not justify Stevens actions but it can certainly make you understand it. He reported Deezer dozens of times and Blizzard never took any action, so him taking the vigilante road is wrong but understandable.

Everything is understandable, but this isn't maths were two wrongs make a right. We're not following an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth here. We are mature people. I want Deezer to get banned, but I really think there's a possibility Destiny could get into trouble from this if Blizzard finds out, which they propably will. This only makes Destiny look like a bully. As much as I love Destiny and watching his stream I can never support bullying, no matter the reason. So i'll tune off the stream whenever Destiny is going to far, and tune back to see him play, as I usually do.

Deezer was the one spamming destiny and making his laddering life hell, and now destiny will get in trouble by blizz? i mean come on, where has the decency in the world gone to?

If he has the stream up while he is playing that is his choice and Destinys fault for having it on. And if like some of you say that Destiny is winning all the time i REALLY DO NOT see any reason for this to be a bad thing for anyone. Destiny wants to practice on ladder and he only plays vs deezer

In the end, this is just a video game and what happened this morning matters so little in the grand scheme of things. These streamers provide so much to the community and should be rewarded for providing free insight to any player that watches. They don't deserve the harassment they get from people like RatZDeezer.

You don't see a problem with him stream sniping him for weeks and then stream cheat in many of those games? Stream cheating is actively procuring information about your opponents actions that the game does not give you. There is little to no difference between that and map-hacking. You really have no problem with that? I guess you are also fine with drop-hacking I take it? Since it's the victims fault for laddering at the same time that the drop-hacker does. Give me a break. Like I said Destiny did the wrong thing but Deezer is far from innocent. Also anarkandi, I don't understand why you quoted me and then argued the same point that I made, I don't disagree with anything you said

These people stream everyday... it's all fun and games at this point. ps: mmxmoto is a noob

it's his fault for streaming The logical equivalent of "it's that woman's fault for getting raped, she shouldn't have been wearing such revealing clothing".

It's entirely possible that every time Deezer attempts to stream snipe Destiny from now on he'll get DC'd without Destiny having to move a finger. That's not on Destiny, that's on Deezer and the community. Is it against the rules? Sure it is, but you can't ban 5000 viewers for doing it and you can't ban Destiny for what people who support him do for him. You would figure by now people would understand to not fuck with Destiny, it never seems to end well for anyone.

Yeah I know it is obvious it is wrong, but either Blizzard or TeamLiquid needs to put a rule for that (particularly Blizzard), as Blizzard does not really have a solid argument against Deezer for stream cheating if it is not "against the rules". Well you could argue that stream sniping is against the TOS as the matchmaking is designed to match you up with a random person of similar skill and the TOS state: StarCraft II has been carefully crafted to provide a level playing field for all players. Any activities not intended by game design which affect the client, Battle.net or the game itself have a tremendous negative impact on the potential enjoyment for all players. The effects of these activities take many forms including altering balance, server instability, and allowing unauthorized access to accounts, computers, and player data. As such, we take the following issues very seriously and take swift and appropriate action on all players involved in these malicious activities. Below are guidelines detailing what repercussions to expect when we discover evidence of these activities. We reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis, and in extreme cases, take action beyond what is detailed here. more to the point: Abuse of Game Mechanics The distinction between exploiting bugs and abusing game mechanics is a fine one. While bug exploitation involves the abuse of what is essentially a programming mistake, the abuse of game mechanics is the act of taking advantage of the limitations of the StarCraft II game systems. Since the line between the sanctioned use and the abuse of game mechanics is sometimes unclear, we prefer to educate players before taking any action against the account being used. This category includes using/distributing game mechanics in a manner unintended by their design that: -Damages another player's game, their gameplay, and/or the service itself source: Blizzard SC2 policies edit:ofc the same applies to Stevens actions. Also the punishment for all of these in the first occurrence is a warning and subsequent temporal bans if the actions continue. So nobody is getting perma banned over this one time.
