Hardest matches to call for me; BabyKnight vs Vortix - Dont know much about either player so after some quick reading went with Vortix, mainly guess/gut feeling though Coca vs Creator - PvZ from two of the best online players of their respective races, should be an epic series Major vs Naniwa - Major hasnt played in a lot of big tournaments recently so hard to guage his skill level but if hes playing anywhere near his best then this could be the match of the tournament
Ultimately I have Taeja vs Naniwa for the finals, with Naniwa winning.

a looooot of upsets but those upsets almost won me the last bracket contest so why not this time? THE WINNING BRACKET
|
this will have a live final as in the only final match is live? and the rest are played online?

I have taeja over squirtle in the finals. Nani I have making it pretty deep, sase as well. Ret, I really, really wanted to take round 1, but after seeing him lose all of his BL in that one bad engagement, I just can't do it. I hope he's working really hard against protoss to prove me wrong. he has the mechanics and talent, now he just needs to get the engagements and army control worked out.
edit* My bracket. By the way, ret proving me wrong will completely destroy my chances of winning, but here's hoping anyway!!! Liquid Fighting!!

Just realized Naniwa has a pretty easy bracket and can easily advance to the semi if he can defeat Hyun and Keen. Given that Naniwa almost beat DRG in a close PvZ and has already beaten Keen in the Ro16 during this current GSL, I think Naniwa has a great chance to get into semi along with Squirtle, Taeja, and Coca.

I have some trouble seeing 6 out of 8 players in the Ro8 being Zerg; Ret beating Squirtle, for example? Maybe, but I think it's unlikely. Then again, this is the tournament of upsets.

Then again, this is the tournament of upsets. I think foreigners (specifically, Liquid players) will work and prepare a lot harder. I can see Ret beating Squirtle, it's quite a long shot, but perhaps I'll be right. I got FXO (maybe) and Seed (maybe) right (hopefully) and they were both 1% on the poll, so maybe my luck will continue ^^
