As for everything else, games, production, casting, players...<3. Ever since the full line-up of players was announced, this has been the tournament I've looked forward to the most by an enormous margin, and the first day of games did not disappoint in the slightest. The only criticism I have is that there was an audio sync issue with the vods (may have just been a problem specific to me though as I didn't see anyone else complaining about it).

That said, i was so thrilled by TSL3 and even more when i read the thread explaining the decision process behind the issue on one of Boxer´s games that all i could think was that i should be doing more to help TL out... WHERE IS THE DONATION BUTTON ?

There were slight sync issues, nowhere near as bad as the latest GCPL or the Jinro v IdrA showmatch but enough to be noticeable at times. I think it has something to do with replays being always being a teeny bit faster/slower on different computers. Don't think it's possible to sync it unless we get replay sharing or if the casters use the same computer (obviously not that viable).

The intro animation, the player information sheets, the interactions with the caster and DjWheat joining perfectly smooth.. everything was a brilliant. Put that on national television and people probably won't tell the difference to a professional production in a studio. The only point of improvement would be some stats-sheets for later rounds maybe.. It was so awesome, it directly compelled me to register with their sponsor and do their whole PokerStrategyQuiz spiel (probably getting me addicted to online poker now :/ but that's the price I'll have to pay). The bar has been set. Yes, I'm looking at you, NASL. I'm sorry, I mean..I agree with you that production quality is quite good, but seriously, Marcus joined their skype call randomly and they didn't even know.... (if you have a group call, you can come on at any time without invite for those of you who don't know) "smooth" is the wrong word...it was anything BUT smooth. "OMG where did you come from djWHEAT??" ..not smooth at all.

That alone makes it more professional than 99% of other streams/tournaments out there, even the big ones. Quality-wise, only Dreamhack and the gosucoaching streams come close. The little transition videos are great, the overall colour theme is kept in matchup pictures, player pictures and video transitions, making the downtime between in-game footage smooth to watch. Big, big props.

Now, even though i like poker and i gave a try to the poker quiz thing as a way to help out TL, i ended up to stoping in the middle of the process because it seems that my credit card won´t deal with gambling sites for some reason. That said, i was so thrilled by TSL3 and even more when i read the thread explaining the decision process behind the issue on one of Boxer´s games that all i could think was that i should be doing more to help TL out... WHERE IS THE DONATION BUTTON ? www.teamliquid.net/store/ You can donate and get an awesome t-shirt at the same time! C:
