So now I'm confused. The "report" function needs a mod filter so that I can make sure my reports get sent to banlings who think like me .

User was warned for this post His was a 1st offense, yours was your 8th offense. Yeah, I really need to branch my mod history out a bit. It's not very well rounded. Maybe I'll spoil results from unrelated games while bringing up gender debate in IdrA's fan club or something. Actually, that would probably cause a pretty hysterical wave of other people getting banned for their responses. You could also veer into spreading wildly false rumours in unrelated fanclubs. Would Huk fans accept that HotBid is an iguana-human hybrid?
HotBid isn't actually half-iguana, is he?

Heh. Tech Support stuff is best served PMing a mod 95% of the time. The majority really don't understand the subject matter well enough to mod for that anyways.
Here's a hypothetical: If R1CH caught the EG Flu, and the site was getting destroyed by such a huge wave of bad posters that the only real solution was to unplug the router, so they decided to make me a banling until he recovered (this is the only circumstance I can imagine them being that crazy), it would be a horrible thing if I modded SC2 strat. Why? Because I kind of suck at the game. Understanding things reasonably well from a viewing perspective doesn't mean much where advising others is concerned.
Luckily, I think most of the mods do try to stick to their spheres of interest, but still, with certain stuff, a PM is frequently better.

Hmm, I think the main reason for this is that most banlings are not tech support experts so it can cause problems when we get reports saying "this guy is wrong." Actually, once I tried to handle a tech support report like that by using google to try to find the right answer. I ended up getting it wrong and warning the wrong guy by mistake. How embarrassing!

I imagine Grobyc as the creator. He's kind of distant but pops in every now and then. Toast kind of moderates it (for lack of a better word in this context) and is always watching over the day to day affairs. Kefka just spouts random crap every now and then and turdburgler makes snide remarks Then there's just the regulars enjoying the wonderfulness of the ABL. Well than,I'll just take my random crap some place else THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I'm sure the korean music discussion thread will welcome me with open arms. It was meant in a loving way! I don't know what KMD and LoL would be without you either. I forgot marttorn going off the craziest stuff too.

Ah yes, the ubiquitous "computer bug". Almost never actually seen. I had this happen to a PSU once with a beetle.

When I dissected the remains of my first laptop I found what appeared to be a fried fly next to the the power input.
Perils of Australia.

By spider, I hope you don't mean huntsman spiders. Or any one of those smaller but incredibly poisonous spiders in Australia.

Huntsmen horrify me slightly ever since a nest of them hatched in the light fixture directly above my bed my first year in Australia. They just started dropping on top of me while I was sleeping. The adults are too big to get in through the vents though.

When I was in elementary school we had a mouse make a home inside one of those old apple computers that anyone who went to school in the 90's knows and loves. Those things can squeeze themselves through incredibly small spaces, like an eraser sized hole on the back of a computer.

Someone should just rename this thread the "Herd of Attention Deficit Disorder Cats" thread and be done with it.
