Yknow, the hamster talk reminds me of the time I got a firsthand demonstration of why even religious private schools need more regulation.
So the school I was subjected to, like a lot of small private schools, teachers would teach multiple subjects. My algebra 2 teacher was also the Biology "teacher". So there were ferrets, gerbils, hamsters, and an iguana in her room. This one day, she decided that since the ferrets had always been in captivity, they wouldn't have hunting instincts.
Me, being the only person sensible enough to realize that about 2/3s of the school's approved biology book was more like a bad novel, pointed out that most predators only get taught technique, not predator/prey relationships. But, she insisted it would be cute to watch the ferrets play with the hamster.
Everyone else in the class was a female, so my response was "Well, you're wrong, but I know you won't listen to me, what could I know. So I'm just going to stand over here, keep my hands in one piece, and let the girls all scream and grab onto me when the ferrets pull the hamster apart."
Naturally, I was right, she didn't listen. The hamster died within the week from it's injuries, the girls screamed loud enough to be heard through multiple closed doors a hundred feet away and teleported from next to the animals to latch onto me (almost strangling me, of course, and ironically, they all hated me, but I was the only male present), and the "Biology teacher" looked like she was taping her knuckles for a cage fight for the next 2 weeks.
Was rather entertaining.

T_T That's sad. I wish I could send my a completely random nondescript army of hamsters to invade her house and slowly starve her off from the resources necessary to maintain life as a normal human being. They would somehow lock the door and keep her from getting out, they'd chew over all the wires, leaving her food unrefrigerated. Within a few months, she will be eating anything that she can find that hasn't been spoiled by the harsh mistress of time. The hamsters would of course also dedicate several troops to stuffing her plumbing, leaving her with no water but what she can gather from inside her house. She would be left hopelessly sucking all the moisture she could out of old plants and-
Of course, err, that would never happen. That's silly, I mean, a few hamsters couldn't do that much. Hehe. Right.

don't know why i would expect to be able to work faster than code... maybe because whenever the bot posts i picture it as a metal robot sat at a keyboard somewhere...

Based on the last thread, I think the computer's hatred is understandable but not really necessary to cause problems.

I thought the search must be glitching, so I checked the topic IDs. Who makes the exact same thread five times over the course of five days, despite it getting closed every time? On the one hand, Duckcraft is very lucky not to be permed. On the other hand, it would have made me sad; I always die a little inside when a really cool account name is lost when it's taken by someone who's then immediately banned.

I'm happy I'm not the only one who feels this way. I get flustered when I see someone with a cool account name get banned. I mean WTF? If you were planning on getting banned you should've picked a shitty name like the 12 year olds on xbox live do, and save the cool names for the people that aren't asshats.

Yeah, asshat is a damn good one to bust out once in awhile. Butt Pirate is rather hilarious as well. =) It is always hard on slow ban days like to find something cool to add to the thread. If you need something though, play the TL Birthday Ban Game that we were all playing like 10 pages ago. =)
