B) Oh. In my head when I wrote that there was a bit more rhetorical sense. As in- I should try harder. My reports usually vary depending on how obvious the post is. If I've looked at half the guys history to judge whether I should report or not I'll write something thorough but when someone types burn the gays it's usually just "._." | ||

Sure in the LR's there's full of prey for everyone but when there is no big tournaments going you are going to starve and slowly your skills as a pro-reporter start to deteriorate. A few can still get by on SC2 strategy and the General Forum but those guys are usually super dedicated so it's more than likely you don't have what it takes. Add to that that the banlings and mods already read all the big and hot threads so the bad posts not dealt with are scarce. I suggest you stick to your day job and keep your reporting solely recreational. It does feel good to get home after a long day of work to get to that juicy shitty post first. | ||

Good to know. I thought it was preferred to keep the reasons brief and let the mods mull over the punishment. | ||

Well, I already know I'm not mod material as way too many times I think someone should be banned and they only get a warning  but I'll stop being lazy and putting shitty post as a reason when I can't think of a more direct reason. | ||

 I do have ambitions of one day contributing and being a valuable member of the community to the point where I can join staff, though for now of course I focus on just being active and, to some degree (I hope) entertaining/helpful to other users. I think thats partially because it was posted in the SC2 forum rather than the BW forum, meaning people had less of a knee jerk reaction. That or everyone who was going at it already got banned in the Bisu, Jaedong, Jangbi at Blizzcon thread :-P | ||

Everybody who would make terrible posts wishing death upon Brood War was already swiftly punished in those previous BW threads. And yeah, less BW people to have knee-jerk emotional reactions is good too  | ||
