There is a logical reason to say "I could care less."
Initially you may have wanted to say "I couldn't care less,"
However, generally that would be factually inaccurate, as it is probably possible to care less.
Therefore, you must amend your statement to be more factually accurate: "I could care less."
Taken on it's own it means very little.
However, if you consider the original thought process, suddenly it makes sense.
To say "I could care less" means one is very close to not being able to care any less.
But not quite.
At least, that's the way somebody once used it a long time ago, and now it has infiltrated English.

When you say "I could care less," the one possibility you are excluding (that of not caring at all) is in fact the exact meaning you are attempting to convey. It is fingernails down the blackboard of my soul. I don't think there is any way to say "I could care less" without being insulting. Obviously if you didn't care you wouldn't say anything. Its the same concept as "herp derp" aka : "i didnt read what you posted so im going to type something and avoid your post all together" Should be bannable imo. i think u mad/u jelly should be also but thats just me Pretty sure 'u mad/u jelly' should be bannable under the meme/4chan clause

I love when people get banned for making new accounts under a slightly different IP address. When you happen to get someone who knows how to change their IP well it lasts for like 3-4 accounts getting banned in succession and then a ban from R1CH and it is all over.

It's just bad English. Say something that has no meaning enough and suddenly its meant to be insightful if we step back and consider context and history? No thanks. It's also one of my pet peeves, like splling "lose" as loose.

Step 4: Send mod who banned you the following
XXXXXX: it's the internet bro please don't act like you have the ability to manipulate anything i do. amending a Ban PM with "please don't not try to circumvent this by making a new account etc..."
any 13 year old with a basic understanding of Dynamic IP addresses i'm sure could bypass your IP filters simply by pulling their plug and for those like me who happen to be more sophisticated understanding of things like Mac address logging, DNS server augmentation.. pathetic! thanks for the ban too. TL won't last much longer at this speed
We are the Legion
Lol gotta love the teenager /v/ kids. Gave me a good laugh tho.

Wow, you guys didn't need to spark a whole conversation about it. I obviously meant "couldn't care less", there was no deeper meaning to it other than a mistake on my part.

If you listening to the stream ItmeJP and everyone were cracking up because Incontrol was trolling how bad the strategy forum is here. Incontrol thinks Inca sucks and he was getting angry about the DT builds.

Nazarid was just temp banned for 2 days by Liquid`Nazgul. That account was created on 2010-02-26 16:46:58 and had 299 posts. Reason: Wow i read things like this and it makes me sad...whether or not people know him(in real life) it is still a nice thing to give him a congrats to his graduation ... why are you so mad? don't answer that. I'm just not sure why you are so angry with the community that is just congratulating a guy that just got his masters degree..in w/e i don't even know or care what the is degree he got but I'm still going to say CONGRATS SEAN! This degree he earned took years of work and that cannot be put aside easily I truly hope for a bright future for Sean Day 9 Plott. so I read this and think this is a nice guy what happened? did the post take a nosedive and went on a rage after that....Show nested quote + PS..Kcaz you getting mad over some one else having a triumph in life.It is saddening i only hope that one day you succeed in life and people give you a congrats instead of being arrogant assholes to you like you are being to others right now.
still a reasonable response to someone going apeshit over a congratz thread... so what does he do? he drops the motherload, He is the kind of guy that looks down a gun barrel and goes so what happens when I pull this?"
but read for yourself + Show Spoiler +Sadly i may be banned after this post if that's the case farewell to all the TLuiquididians I well forever live as a lurker!

If you can't grasp it you will end up easily annoyed by perfectly acceptable English.

In my experience, JWD, harem, and maybe ETT are the most strict on 4chan stuff, do with that what you will

So what? Mods are working hard to make the strategy forum a better place, then a respected member of SC community comes and makes a stupid "funny" thread like that. Doesn't get temp banned, warned, anything..so at the end people may think it's ok to create threads like that and will end up banned themselves. Sometimes mods make posts that "normal" users would get warned/banned for, but it almost always has a hidden/inside meaning/joke. His thread however as well as his posts in Demuslim's thread had no meaning, and were just not funny at all.

What happens if I say: " I probably will be banned for saying this, but: I probably gonna get banned for this." ?

Trolling has replaced "a/s/l" in that it's used gratuitously all over the internet and directly identifies people you don't want anything to do with.

You get banned regardless. Don't say what you think is bannable (verify with a staff member) and don't say that you think you'll be banned for saying it.

was this guy banned for a post dated July 04 2010 04:00? Well, I know he came to our attention for his recent posts, which are all really bad. Also, he's a previously banned user.
