Being non-left on TL will make any man go crazy, given enough time. It's why I stopped posting in General....

Yahoo! and Townhall.com are the two places I've found that are right-leaning and wouldn't make a conservative go mad. But sam's correct. If you take the Internet too seriously, you will lose your mind.

Zing! But honestly more because how many people do you know with Yahoo, Rocketmail, Ymail anything that are under a certain age? Because of my work, which deal a lot with peoples's emails, I've come to have certain stereotypes about individuals based on their email service providers: Oh well maybe DEB can take refuge there for a while.

I have only been back 1 month here and already I feel 5 times crazier. the internet is just a crazy place period I find the internet much less madness-inducing since I decided that it's rarely worth trying to change anyones opinion on anything and rather use discussion to learn about different viewpoints and only further my arguments to try to make the other side work harder and reveal more about their convictions. It's actually quite liberating when you have nothing to lose, however it could just be a sign that I have succumbed to the insanity.

Also in learning what kinds of fallacies and things are out there because you tend to hear the same stuff over and over. It's still maddening because, well, I actually do care about the things I believe in and it is not just a game I play for fun. Also you come up on the limits of your own knowledge, where you are pretty sure that something is true but you discover you don't really understand it as well as you thought before you started trying to say it. But on the other hand the internet is a place where people have weird notions about what constitutes 'proof' as for that star someone suggested... Lol. I'll be happy just if I can hold my tongue well enough to keep my posting privileges. Apathy is a virtue and makes a nice helmet. Deb needs helm of apathy +2
