I think it's pretty well known by people to not discuss things in the picture thread, it's on the OP. No arguing. If you're going to be picking over words like it doesn't say no discussing then you're following the letter of the law too closely rather than the spirit. | ||

Skvid was just temp banned for 2 days by mikeymoo. That account was created on 2010-04-14 13:27:21 and had 662 posts. Reason: Stop discussing things in the pic thread. Does anybody read the ban list anymore? THE PICTURE THREAD IS FOR PICTURES. Typing "[image loading]" and not actually having a picture is even worse, because you KNOW you SHOULD post a picture but can't be bothered. You're not funny. You're just clutter. I knew there was going to be one pissed off mod when I saw the post with the ban in the pictures thread. People really need to learn to just ignore that urge to say something in that thread. | ||

It was practically an argument, and I was the one dishing out bans for that. Mani had already stepped in to tell people in particular to stop discussing the whatever-long stick thing. If you need to have a discussion or ask for the source or whatever, use PMs. Don't quote a bajillion pictures to say "lol". If you're not going to post a picture, don't bother posting. Is that really that hard? It's not the "picture and discussions of said pictures over tea" thread. At least that's the way I interpret it. Regardless of the subset of said "rules" in that thread, a lot of posts there are just crap and are subject to the main set of rules on this forum. | ||

It's not that we get agitated easily, it's that that type of hate simply isn't good for the community and doesn't perpetuate anything positive for BW or SC2. | ||
