We too are subject to the same failings that the media exploits with their sensationalist media coverage.

Yeah I learned about what happened when I looked in the abl thread and saw Farvacola banned for exploiting some tragedy. Checked what tragedy happened and it was this. Pretty messed up.

Discovering the tragedy through TL is not nearly as bad as going "Ooh, I wonder what shitstorm of a thread might happen."

That's the basis of sensationalist media coverage, it's all about the next big shit storm. Regardless of whether it's man-made or natural.

I actually remember someone for posting basically "i heard the news on the radio and i immediatly thought how bad the thread on tl would be". In the thread. It was pretty hilarious.

I had the satisfaction of reporting that second post.
By the way Kwark, you missed one! Someone called StealthBlue or something.
Sorry about the bad post, double meaning post that made me look like a dickhead. Thx KwarK for the unban, and I promise to keep my record clean of bans

I see, sorry if I misinterpreted your post. It's hard to tell on the internet sometimes.

He has. Btw Kwark has written one of the best BR I've ever read on the first Jangbi vs Fantasy final. Unfortunately, I think we were 3 on tl to agree on that subject :-(

Why'd you have to ask him to do it? Can ordinary banling not revise bans or something?

What does "BR" mean? Is it "battle report"?
Yes. I wonder wether he won more anti-fans with that write up or as a banling...

This tires me to no end.. Come to ANY country in Scandinavia, and then you try - i mean REALLY(!) try, to get a simple handgun. I promise you this would not be an easy task at all. Banning guns doesn't mean that "you can obtain them just as easily illegally". Fucking morons. Laws and regulations are HEAVILY needed.
