farvacola was just temp banned for 1 week by KwarK. That account was created on 2011-01-23 05:46:54 and had 3153 posts. Reason: And the prize for "first to exploit the tragedy" goes to.... farvacola. Anyway, I hope they moderate that thread hard. We don't need a bunch of idiots exploiting such a horrible tragedy. Edit: lol, I wrote that before I even saw Kwark's ban reason. Edit2: The gun control argument stops now. I know it's fun to argue about it in the heat of the tragedy when you can get all worked up about it but it's pretty disrespectful and if you don't care enough about the issue to make a separate topic for gun control then you don't care enough to shit on the tragedy by exploiting it. - KwarK Wow again. This may just turn out to be the ultimate ban trap. Some people just can't help being self-righteous. | ||

We do still have an open gun control thread. and it was really instigative Its one thing to make a bad post for a line or 2 when your angry but to make a whole paragraph means that you thought it through and still thought it was an okay post. | ||

Just wow... politicising a mass shooting, the implication that nobody in the US does anything to stop such people getting guns, disregarding mode note, admitting that disregarding mod is intentional, and martyring! I was very busy this week and it seems I missed a lot. Haxx got banned (and yup, that was a dumb post), TB got accidentally banned, farv got banned again... I'm not convinced TB's ban was accidental, and I wasn't surprised when I saw his name on the ban list. He gets far too much stick at times but I agree with Jasper here, TB can over-react sometimes and be unnecessarily aggressive. | ||
