After the ban, Idra encouraged his fans, through twitter, to harass and spam him on TL.

Be interpreted as a call to 'harass and spam'? It's up to individuals to make the PMs well-written and thought out but nowhere does Idra say to be mean or nasty. I think the TL mods here are trying to put the worst possible spin on the issue as possible, making a big deal out of nothing.

I would say this is win/win for both parts. TL mods gets some peace for a few months while IdrA gets a bigger base of people who love/hate him, and watch him play because of it.

If Idra was stupid I would agree with you, but I dont think that he is. He knew perfectly well what kind of reaction would follow, and he could've explained it afterwards if it wasn't intended as a kind of childish retaliation

I think you're misinterpreting the ban decision, which also included that Idra did not regret his offensive behavior and had no intention of changing.
And think about it, what kind of PMs did Chill get? It's clear that what IdrA did spurred on PMs of malicious intent, and IdrA knows it would happen. I think it's justified that the staff who puts a lot of work to keep this forum clean and regulated quiet someone who's honestly acting immaturely.

Also for those thinking that this ban is too long, I recommend that you turn to a lot of the forum veterans who have been here forever and know that IdrA has gotten by lenient bans and "close-calls" time and time again.
This length to most veterans is not surprising.

Why don't you ask idra to have his fans to PM your email. Have fun going through pages of nonsense for a few days.

Would you care explaining this thought process? It should not be that much of a deal to insult someone if you have good reasons to believe he stream-cheated. Anyone would have reasons to get angry if he lost 20 points on ladder because of this. I don't think the first ban was deserved.
As for the second, IdrA caused trouble asking people to spam Chill, this ban was deserved.

The past week has really shown Idra's true colors... He is an immature kid who thinks he can get away with trash talking everyone and whining about everything just because he is decently skilled at a game.
I thought it was funny in the past when he would get mad in games and it made for good drama. But he really made things personal and incisive as time went on, with inflammatory verbal abuse to his lesser known opponents.
Idra is nothing but an internet bully. Good riddance, at least for 90 days.

Ultimately TL can do whatever they want. They sorta hold the monopoly on High end SC2/BW news/forums. What are idras fans going to do? Go to gosugamers? Ultimately TL is god, and you respect god, or you get dead. TL Dosn't need idra, and really idra dosn't need TL. So i highly doubt this will ever really be resolved. Idras gunna be idra, and TL's gunna be TL. Guess we have to live with it.
But really..? 65 pages of discussion on idra being banned? If people spent half the time actually playing that they spend discussing meaningless stuff ..

Banning him for 90 days when he was streaming with commentary... Seriously that decision is just against the community and not for. As always you should ban the retarded bronze on sc2Strategy instead of pro players who have a nice stream and 10k viewers.

Sigh.. I'm a little sad actually, not because Idra got banned, but because he got temp banned instead of perma banned.
I know notable people and long time influential players get a softer hand regarding bans and warns, but Idra's been flaming people for years, most people would have been banned by now. 90 days should be the bare minimum he deserves

Or they should ban posters who choose not to read any posts before they reply ^^
The ban does not influence his streaming in any way as already explained much more often than I can count. He can still stream if he chooses to do so
