Skill doesn't automatically mean we have to respect you if you're a douche. There are tons of other players equally skilled but more polite.

Generally, skill levels are pretty objective and if you only think he's "decently skilled", you're willfully downplaying his skill out of negative bias toward him, which could be described as immature, I suppose. I'm not really a fan of how IdrA acts either, nor am I a Zerg player, but there's no denying that he's actually very damn good. Which is probably why people interpreted you calling him "decently skilled" as being passive-aggressive.

People value such things differently. I would call Idra decently skilled aswell, which means that he is not top(he is no Nestea or MVP) but he is a lot better than many other guys->decently skilled for me.
How is that aggressive in any way?

i like idra. i dont like cruncher. idra went to far with his post and got a tiny 2day ban. maybe then some misunderstandings happened (him thinking he cant stream while banned?) and he told people to complain about it to a mod. now he has a 90day ban.
in the end he went too far with his first post, got only a tiny punishment (good old TL rule of "be important part of community, get special treatment") then again went too far to get a bigger punishment. both has to happen and was dealt correctly with to keep the integrity of the forums.
i dont see the huge problem and why this terrible thread is about to hit 70 pages. does he really have that many blind fanboys with zero clue how a forum works?
very very saddening thread. guess the communitys age/majurity level took a bigger nosedive then i thought.

Once upon a time there was a thread about a favorite mod, and Nazgul was on there for being fair and equal, to which Nazgul said along the lines of, I am not really equal, Idra gets away with doing stuff 10 times where regular users would get away with once.
Some where on that thread Idra said something along the lines, of some Mod's name which I cannot recall, for his intelligence (which obviously was a troll lol). which got him banned lol
Anyways the point I am trying to make is that Idra already has a good room for error on his forum behavior, but if he even goes beyond that, Mods are doing the right thing

Yes it is opinion base but going back to that poster and looking at the content of his entire post. Its easy to see how he views 'decent'. He used the expression as a put down thats all.
