Looking for a GSL March Finals viewing party? Then check out this map and scan the list below!

old map =) watch it grow!

Is your party not listed here? Send me a PM!

Would you like to work with me in setting up showmatches between our region's best players? For GSL4, we had some interesting ones (it was us in Berkeley, CA, USA vs. chromate's partygoers in Toronto, Ontario, CA). Let's get it set up. Send me a PM!

If you're one of these organizers: I have a suggestion. Set up a donation pot at your event and donate it to a charity of your choice... Eudemonia is going to set up a collection pot for aid for Japan. If you are interested in setting up a local GSL-themed fundraising effort for Japan of your own and would like me to feature it on this list, send me a PM!

You may use http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/sccharity/japan-disaster-relief if you like. Dean from Eudemonia just set this up. It's through a different organization that you can read up on (so the money isn't going through us, it's going through firstgiving.com) =)

Entry fees are all being donated to Red Cross of Japan. There will also be a donation pot, and, hopefully, tourneys/showmatches with a pot going to the winner's choice of charity.

You should start one! Look through the other threads to get some venue ideas. I'm sure some venue would love to get more people there.

I am more than willing to host a few people at my place in Chicago to watch on Friday. 24" monitor is the biggest I have, but I live 2 blocks from my fav liquor store, so good times could be had. I'm watching with a friend already, so if you want to come over and drink and cheer on July, email me? alexkaiserwilhelm@gmail.com - not sure if this will be popular or ignored!

Hope one gets started in the South East Michigan region. I unfortunately dont have the money or resources to host one myself, but if someone else did I would surely be pumped.

WOW. I saw the pictures from past party and it looks fun and amazing! Wish they had GSL parties in Korea.

I started working in gaming business because I had so much fun growing up with games and wanted to spread that experience to as many people as possible. Seeing people enjoy themselves from content I took part in making is truly amazing. Thanks guys! You make my job really worthwhile. I will do my best to present the best final.

Do it, Annie. =) Can you get an auditorium at your school or at another one in Boston? You can still pull it all together. It's only Tuesday. ;-) Tell me the details by tomorrow so I can add it to this directory thread. Hee hee.

We here at Toronto love all the work you guys do. However, if you really want to party it up here, I would happily trade spots with you so I can watch players live and get to meet everyone :O

I'll be opening one of the lounges in my dorm at MIT for anyone who wants to come watch the GSL (I have the season pass so the stream is "HQ"). The max capacity is probably ~10 people, so please RSVP. I'll provide the drinks and snacks.

With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Seriously, Canada is Kickass

We are 1 GSL Party per 6.7million

The US... 1 GSL Party per 51.2 million

To me that means that Canada is approximately 8x more awesome then the US, sorry buds but that just isn't cutting it.

If anyone will be in Hiroshima on Saturday, I'd be happy to host them for GSL finals or TSL day 1.

Then again, I don't think anyone's in Hiroshima...
Still, the offer's there. PM me.

I'm getting together a Pittsburgh, PA GSL Finals party--baking brownies and muffins and everything. Going to use a Carnegie Mellon room for it. Maybe an E'n'P meet up beforehand at around 11:30 EST. Sorry this is so last minute. Initially planned it to be small but if I'm using a university room I might as well advertise.

Someones hosting a party in Boston o-O, know I have to see if I can get the day off of work. Have a feeling I might be sick "wink wink" on Friday.

O god, I just read my post and I said Fri-day in a Rebecca Black voice, uh oh

I believe it is a press release GOM made on gaming websites in Korea.

I love this thread. The March finals are too short notice for me, but I bet I could get my wife to let me throw an early-morning party for the April finals.

If there are any hardcore SC2 fans in or around Düsseldorf, Germany that would be willing to come to Flingern in the wee hours of the morn to watch Jinro vs HuK (a man can dream, can't he?), send me a PM. If I get a few responses, I'll set it up!

What is going on in NYC? Why haven't their been any parties for the finals?
