Hello Everyone!
On Friday March 18, 2011 at 11pm PST the Finals for GSL March are being held!
The UBC StarCraft Club, and CSSS, (and the Math Club might be providing pizza) are holding a meet up location where we can all get together and watch the finals in Hugh Dempster, on the UBC Campus.

We will meet at 9pm, and have a few showmatches to watch on the big screen while we wait for the finals, so feel free to bring your laptop and play! The finals will likely finish somewhere between 1230am and 2am.
Come out and enjoy the epic showdown between oGsMC and ST_July!
Club membership fees are $5 for UBC students and $10 for everyone else. Be prepared to make a small donation ($2) if you're not a member, but still want to drop by!

Sounds like a fun night. I would bring my laptop to play on, but I've got my sc2 on an external hard drive because my toaster has got a puny hard drive of its own. If anybody would let me use a computer, I think it'd be great to play a few fun matches. I should probably join the club as well - I have some friends in there

I think cedstick was organizing something similar to this? or he did the previous one.

No, I was going to, but decided not to since UBC were doing their own thing and graciously invited the rest of Vancouver XD

The guy who gave me a ride there and back last time isn't responding to my text message. Could anyone possibly help me out? I'm right at 41st and Argyle (which is very close to Victoria Dr.).
I would take the bus to UBC and back but I don't think there's a bus that runs by the time the finals are over.
edit: If anyone who lives near me needs a ride back as well, I would be willing to split a cab back from UBC (assuming there isn't anyone willing to drive us).

but the only thing is if the games go past 1, I'll either have to leave early to catch the skytrain or beg to catch a ride.
If any1 lives by Joyce station or willing to drop me off at it after gsl let me know.

Hmm i may stop by with some friends we havent decided weather we are going to watch it at my place or come down to watch it. I heard the volume was too low last time :O

Trading balloon stix for GSL ride, get your offical OGS MC clappers from me and guide me to a place where I can lay my head to rest perhaps we could ingest the best cess?

I'll be able to drive one person home if they are on the way to my house. I live in West Vancouver, so anywhere downtown or nearby on the north shore would be fine. That or somewhere not too far from the burrard street bridge in Vancouver.

Oh man, I hoenstly wish I was in vancouver for this! I am up at UNBC atm lol >_> I want to meet firezerg/stalife/drewbie ! LOL (I've played firezerg/stalife and almost beat stalife )
