Hey guys, so I'm sure you guys may or may not know by now, that this season's GSL finals will be in Daejeon. I for one, was totally shocked and surprised as I was already fully prepared to take the KTX to watch this month's epic finals. Lo and behold, while checking the gom site for any updates on the finals during my break at work, I couldn't believe it will be held in Daejeon and I won't really need to go very far to watch it. ^.^
So I guess this is basically an invite to anyone that may want to hang out and watch the finals together, and possibly get some drinks after. This is actually my 2nd time now coming to Korea for work, and I actually know some good places to check out in the area for bars, and clubs and all that since I live close by, over in dunsan-dong daejeon. Unfortunately, I do not have my phone yet, still waiting on my ARC getting renewed, for some reason airport took it away when I left the country last time :/ So if anyone wants to contact me, best way would be through the messanger on the forums, or hit me up on my e-mail (Semipsyc345@hotmail.com). Figure this would be a good way to get some ppl from the community together that may be in Korea for whatever reason to enjoy this event.
I also have some blokes that will be leaving soon, so they are having some sort of sale at their apartment and plan to party afterwards in Daejeon I believe, again if anyone is interested in joining.

Well I'll be there with some guys...drinking and watching SC at the same time has become a finals ritual. Remember foreigners there will most likely do anything so if you just pop over and say hi we'll go drinking there will probably be many people there who will just go.
Drinks so far:
Season 3 (My uniden poster) was Spiced rum and coke
Season 4 (My Y U mad tho poster with my gf holding): Tequilla and mnt dew (Epic combo)
Season 5 (Maybe try to draw July as the Juggernaunt): Vodka coke

Yea usually I would just go to enjoy, but the breaks have been long in between the games, so would then usually grab a couple beers to drink for the rest of the finals. Hoping I can finally get some of my friends to go as well since before their excuse would be not wanting to go all the way to seoul to watch it, even though we could turn it into a weekend thing after of drinking in seoul.
Good Ideas though for the cocktails though, can't go wrong with liquor

Yeah I'm going as well, I'm that foreigner wearing a blue snowboard jacket, if you see me, just come by and we can hang out, these finals are gonna be incredible! Afterwards we're going back to Seoul (Hongdae) partying with some other international students, so if you wanna follow, just tell me

Alright, sounds good man. I just remembered the band that one of my buds is in will be playing a gig at a bar later that night, probably around 11pm so I'll probably stick around Daejeon. But if anyone is interested in staying in Daejeon, would definitely recommend going there to hear them play. Plus the bar is pretty big and awesome. It's over in Dunsan-dong again, by City Hall station on the subway line. Then can either walk there, by a big mall building called Timeworld. The Bar name is Yellow Taxi
Also, I'll probably be the dude with a Jinx SC2 jacket on, and with kinda long, shaggy, redish-brown hair and chin beard
