Generally I can find interesting personal posts in the blogs forum, as well as good quality discussion of current events in the general forum. I also visit sports and games/tech forum sometimes (when I have specific questions or just want to discuss/read about other games, etc.). The TL community forum is also fun to browse.
I'm here for the community, really. I see TL as no different, except in quality, from any other general discussion forum. I find the strict moderation really keeps out the poorer types of posts you see on other forums, and the lack of annoying signatures/avatars/strangely formatted posts makes TL very easy to browse.
I really like TL, just not so much SC2 XD

How do you post in the blog forum?

Is it just me or the After Hours Gamer League is getting little to no attention?
I heard the games started June 30th but only 1 thread was created by some user who just provided some info...

Your thread is "hey wouldn't it be cool if X" which is not allowed on the grounds of it being useless.
The MotM petition is "we made these maps, tested them, the general consensus is they are pretty awesome and we want them included".

I really like TL, just not so much SC2 XD Is it the game itself or the posters in the SC2 section; because if you can tolerate the LR threads and enjoy the hype and discussion beyond the annoying balance whiners etc there is a ton of fun, well thought out discussion and posting going on in there

Why do you guys discourage brevity in OPs so much? Those posts are usually painful to read without skimming.

Because if you don't read them and post anyway, you're wasting everyone's time. If it's painful for you to read a well-expressed, informative OP, then it's painful for us to read the posts you make when you're uninformed about the thread. TL prides itself in quality, and two-sentence OPs do not lend themselves to that sort of goal.

That's not what I mean. People needlessly write a whole essay to make a point that could have been made in a few sentences. That's because short OPs are likely to be closed for being short.

Post in website feedback, with examples.

So true...
On a related note how many staff members have successfully completed the 12 Step program to wean oneself off TL?
I know Plexa failed (thankfully), even rekrul still posts. Our lord and master his manliness comes and goes... like the wind oooh. I guess meat is no longer around? Or at least hiding. Anyway, would be interesting to know.
Edit: ooh bloo goo

The game itself. It just doesn't appeal to me, but I can understand why many people like it. It's just a personal preference issue.

Saracen killed my last shred of interest in the game.

Nice mutalisk Torte
Is that why you decided to start playing HoN?

PLAY WITH ME NOW
It's why I'm playing TF2 more ): that and my chair lost an armrest, so I can't play comfortably D:

So is there a reason Torte's post count keeps falling or does that invoke the wrath of the flying monkey gods?

Well, when he finally reaches 1, he will begin merging with TL.net Bot who will have 1 post at that time as well. This will allow her to enter the physical world and begin initiating the sequence of events leading to Judgement Day. That's my interpretation of the situation.
