I'm here for the community, really. I see TL as no different, except in quality, from any other general discussion forum. I find the strict moderation really keeps out the poorer types of posts you see on other forums, and the lack of annoying signatures/avatars/strangely formatted posts makes TL very easy to browse. I really like TL, just not so much SC2 XD | ||

The topic had a favorable response and I am confused as it seems that it doesn't seems to brake any rules. The reasons it got closed was these - Don't use TL as a petition signup page. - Don't use TL as an avenue for changing SC2. - Please think through your ideas more than "Wouldn't this be cool?" before opening a thread. But these are terribly confusing  as there have been ton of petition pages for law bills etc. :/I am also don't understand the second as that would mean that tons of threads and comments regarding balance or just anything wanting to improve/make worse (its subjective)/change sc2 would have to be closed ?? I also want to expand my knowledge around ''wouldn't this be cool?'' I just basically made a thread that expanded the reward mechanic other then the existing pool of portraits and idols so that brood war sounds and other related objects could be unlocked. As thus I also don't understand I don't get it. You're petitioning, on TL, to ask Blizzard to allow players, the majority of which don't knwo about progaming, to replace unit sounds and portraits with old versions or joke versions. ??? People needlessly write a whole essay to make a point that could have been made in a few sentences. That's because short OPs are likely to be closed for being short. | ||

It just doesn't appeal to me, but I can understand why many people like it. It's just a personal preference issue. | ||
