How to Create a Text Overlay In-game?

Novu United States2 Posts May 12 2015 13:30 GMT #1 Hey guys! I'm looking to add a text overlay in-game... like streamers do for donations, for example, but actually visible to me while I'm playing. Is this possible? I want to do this to add small reminders to myself that I can glance at during the game, such as "Time Roshan" to remind myself to call the current game time when Roshan is killed. Just little things that could improve my play. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!!

Sn0_Man Tebellong44238 Posts May 12 2015 14:36 GMT #2 There isnt any inbuilt functionality in dota that would allow that so you'd be looking at a 3rd party overlay I think. Which is potentially against the VAC rules but would be unlikely to actually cause an issue (similar to say teamspeak/mumble in-game overlays). Just google it Alternately you can stick sticky notes to your monitor. I've heard of SC2 players doing that to remind themselves of probes and pylons etc.
