edit: 11 now. I just finished playing a game where an invoker had fun using tornado while i was inside my ult ( i was void ) so i couldnt hit the enemies. I reported him and i hope he gets banned. It happens unfortunately - matchmaking may be iffy at times, but whenever you play a game where one team has to lose and one has to win, winning / losing streaks happen, even up to 11 games. Oddly enough, i've actually won 9 out of my last 11 games, the best streak i can think I've ever had. (11/14)

How many games do you have in total, and whats your win rate. If you know that 2 thing, then assuming you win/lose every match with the same chance independently (which is of course not true), your longest loosing streak should be log(*number_of_games*)/log(1/(*looserate*)).

I'm a complete noob. I played my first game of DotA 2 and went 0-11 vs bots as Kunkka. Most embarassing on two occasions I was trying to run back down the lane only to click on the enemy base in the minimap, and walk directly back into the enemy.

So this guy on my teams name was something like "www.viktor1998.ru" I was hoping it was a really clever troll name. it wasnt In retrospect I need to not rage in all chat during bad games. the first three picks on my team were DP Sniper Ursa, so its just me and viktor, I hover over shadow shaman and ask viktor to also pick a stun of some sort. guess who he picks? + Show Spoiler +Riki of course! Because he is good no matter what.

Why do fucking retards spam ping all the time? I was death prophet and I took 2 mid towers super early back to back ,and all they do is whine that I didn't gank. Sorry bro, I value taking 2 super important towers over killing a viper.
Fucking brazillians.

Enjoying pub alone lately, been doing great, but unfortunately every once in a while you get one of those players who refuses to cooperate and feeds all game .

Man dota2 is making me hate russians, most of them suck and are dont do any teamplay. Then add to the fact that that they keep spamming chat, even if there is not any other in the game who actully understand them

Tidebrigner is one of the most annoying abilities to go against. Make sure you fully exploit its annoyance. Like, hitting the creeps when the other team is near so they get hit as well, even though you are not near them. It is amazing range and the damage adds up quickly.

Curiously, did you end up winning that game or not? Because Ursa and Riki are just amazing pubstompers.
Riki is actually one of the heroes that I hate the most on the other team. He's easy as hell to destroy in lane early game, but once he hits level 6 he goes invisible and then just starts feeding off of my teammates. In the end even though he has a terrible early game he can still come back to be a threat in the mid-late game. And worst of all he is a fucking pain in the ass to deal with any caster hero due to his invisibility + silence.
Heroes like Riki IMO are the Protoss of dota. But that being said, there is nothing more satisfying than playing a great game with your friends and utterly countering that noob Riki on the enemy team who thinks he's a pro carry just because he can get kills with the easiest hero to get kills with.

Sentry wards counter Riki though, and without his invisiblity to sneak up and run away from battles, he's practically worthless :-/

Smoke is an amazing teamfight ability, and basically forces heroes caught in it to give Riki an opportunity to backstab them.
Also, all those items necessary for detection basically drain money from the enemy team, especially supports, so on equal farm you're getting ahead.

Yes, but you still need to be in range of the wards to smoke. If the other team is aware of the surrounding, they can stun and kill Riki before he can do anything.
Plus if you dont have any detection, you wont know whether the area is warder or not, so one kill because of the ward make the Riki become overly cautios in engaging

Normally someone like Tide opens the fight, to give his team an opportunity to go in - most carries don't walk in first, for reasons you have described.
Riki's invisibility is an advantage he has over many other heroes, but he still does insane dps and is extremely mobile, so he doesn't depend on it.

I still remember my first few games solo queue.
My first ever game of DotA I pick Shadow Shaman because I didn't want to play a carry while getting used to the game. Turns out wasn't necessary as DK went boots first and went mid and proceeded to go 0-3 in under ... a minute? Can tell how the game goes on from there. Second game went something similar I think? But I'm a pretty passive guy so I just let other people flame and leave before quietly leaving.
I don't think I've solo queued since that first day and team with friends only.

We got destroyed. We may have been able to pull it off but the other team shut down ursa hard and riki just didnt get the farm he needed by mid game, they raxed us at 25-30 and it was pretty much over. (even though I ganked his lane multiple times successfully as shaman mid).
also ursa was dumb as a brick. Two enemies would roam jungle looking for him and he would just keep farming as if they just didnt exist despite how it happened three or four times. He was never able to rosh either
Unless you can completely outplay the other team I think having sniper riki and ursa on the same team is a great way to lose very fast. Also, I play toss exclusively and never touch riki, so i disagree with that assertion :p

Silence, high miss %, slow. Heroes caught under smoke + diffusal purge are basically useless. I rage when I see rikis without smoke...

Yeah, smoke feels like a skill meant for LoL. Aoe slow that.... silences... and blinds... also, you cant actually clink on anything under it due to visual obstruction (PA/BH 100% spell block OP). Still not shackleshot though
