So I'm playing nightstalker, just going crazy killing people, diving towers, etc. etc. 25 minutes in and I have heart + armlet and I'm 1/3 of the way to BKB while our team is outfarming the enemy like crazy.
Suddenly, lag spike as I try to gank their QoP in mid. I go, "hmm, that's weird, just lagged super hard."
2 seconds later: I d/c as my connection resets (morning reset on school's server). Ok, it's cool, I know why I d/ced. I log back into the school server and restart dota since the game is frozen and I'm back within 30 seconds. Hit reconnect, and BAM.
"Error: You must be in a lobby to reconnect." I mash the reconnect button four or five more times. Same error every time. Restart dota. Same error. Restart steam. Same error. Restart computer. Same error.

go to dev forums, see thread from two weeks ago on the issue. Damn.
edit: I see other people had the same problem too!
But was steam actually down? My actual internet went out for a couple seconds due to a reset on my end.

Look at the hero kills: 26-43
This is a potential problem in the competitive scene for pushing strats. They should just change Drow's aura so that it only affects heroes globally. The fact that it can affect Familiars and Eidolons and Chen/Enchantress creeps is beyond broken. Its ridiculous.

I take QoP for offlane, tab back to game i see enemy team randomed Invoker Wisp, Pugna, WR and Night Stalker. And they were stack of 4. That was very long and painful game for me. Only good part was that their Wisp + NS decision to focus on making my life miserable allowed our Weaver to get so fat that he could solo 5 of em.

EDIT : Seems like I can't upload a picture for the life of me. Well our KotL had a russian name... proceeds to feed top lane, build phase boots and tranquility boots. Both. At the same time. Then he made a yasha.

Do people really think that calling their team mates stupid or terrible will help win the game? You demoralize your team mates and they play worse.
Especially when the person doing the trash talk is not doing any better at all, and the other team agrees he's the worst player on your team.

Slardar, me, pudge, wr, forget the 5th hero. They said we have no real carry. I typed: 'i am....'. They said 'lol you are a weak carry'. They are 3 stack and there is a girl voice in team.
WR+ me silencer 2v1 PANDA, i said: 'is it fun to watch him being a melee come near to last hit?'. 'Sorry i am noob'. Check profile, 700games played.
And then the CM had 0 item and this WR watched them getting free exp. Lost it when i die once and seeing top both die gave a double kills at 3min, click exit game and disconnect.
My 16th abandon out of 2k games.
edit: and then next game mm gave me godlike Riki. Ok mm i forgive you today.

From my first match, I had a feeling today would suck. During the first match, both invoker and tinker went mid an decided it would be cool to feed pudge. So at the end, tinker 0-16 and invoker 0-13. So yeah, this went downhill.

Yesterday:
Game 1 - We have won at ~35 minutes.. But Faceless Void and AM (sigh, don't ask) decide to farm for another 15-20 minutes for no reason.
Game 2 - B A D Faceless Void --> Mid TA begins to rant, therefore Void begins to just afk farm somewhere... ...
Game 3 - Pugna "mid or feed" into Pugna: "Duallane Omni/Pugna mid or feed" --> Into: "Omni + Pugna fail/feed in mid 2v1 and finally disconnect."
Game 4 - We just rolled over some scrubs (no push lineup, in their base at 20 minutes)... Boring.
Game 5 - Rubiq in team that in a 5X minute(!) game did not manage ONCE to steal Reverse Polarity, Black Hole or Wall of Replica, let alone interrupt Black Hole or in general do anything usefull except kill stealing with phasebolt ... He was just utterly useless and did not even really support.
Game was stupid anyway.. They had Darkseer, Enigma, Magnus, Slardar.. We got wombocomboed so hard and ourselves lacked any (decent) initiator so things got ugly ^^.
The whole weekend my games were "okish" but yesterday it was just sad...

Flaming people doesn't improve anything and wont do anybody any good.
Being nice isn't about wanting to befriend people, it's about being a decent human being.
If people just followed the golden rule the world would be so much nicer.
