God damn LoL behaviour. Reported everyone except Luna (who kept trying). At least TRY to make something out of a losing game and you might learn how to gank, or sneak in extra farming or something. But giving up is just poor behavior. | ||

I also get the worst luck possible on my creep spawns (alpha wolves everywhere and wildkin, seriously so freaking unlucky  ). A spawn even gets stacked by accident so I cant clear it. Despite that, we manage to keep the situation not too desperate thaks to a nyx assassin that was playing quite well (we are something like 10-20 at this point). Of course Ursa chooses this moment to afk in fountain as he was pissed he died trying to roshan. Chaos knight get massively farmed, we had 2 rax down, and anyway tinker+drow aura meant that we had absolutely no chance to win the game from the beggining (no counter pushing in our team) Choke point jungling? | ||

so naturally i try to reconnect... it says something about a lobby not existing, then the reconnect button disappears....WTF? ugh im gonna get put in low priority.... we were winning too | ||

Dota can be a very fun game, yet sometimes the games will be turning out not as quite as you like them to be. What happens then usually is you apply common sense rage at your teammates. However there are also a lot of cases where your teammates are just downright stupid. This thread does not yet have an appropriate name apart from the general QQ thread, but who knows what we may encounter here. The LoL subforum has the Shikyo Memorial for QQ therapy thread and since we can never be oneupped by our LoL counterparts(I kid...maybe.....). I feel like we could use a place to vent our anger at our teammates or any mishappenings that could happen in the game(or outside, if you so desire somehow). In time we could ask for a rename if such a figure exists and we desire for it, for now its the Dota 2 QQ thread Ill start I was Matchmaking, so I random Sven and another guy on our team randoms Venge, I am like awesome, we have 2 decent supports, we have a puck who can solo, Naix can jungle Storm mid. ... Then our Venge proceeds to buy not 1, not 2, not 3 but 5 slippers of agility and goes mid(where our storm spirit was) He doesn't speak, he doesn't level anything but Magic Missile or ultimate(no howl, no nothing) He refuses to swap people all the while we are being ganked by 2 roamers. then.........he decides to go for 5 wraith bands build. Needless to say, not one of my best games. Feel free to share your QQ stories! I queue up without a party as 1 and i random ursa (was going to go mid), my "teammates were sven, puck, omni and furion", i get about 4 kills during the first 15minutes of the game (then one of our opponents from the enemy team decides to quit and disconnect) which pretty much pisses off everyone. Then furion (after kill-stealing most of the prey that i couldnt finish off decides to start muttering curses and fucks all around) quits. After that, puck quits - followed by sven then omniknight. Not one of my best games either (even if we won at the end) | ||

Second game - Russian Naix who blamed whole world on the fact that he had 0 map awarness and walked into shit all the time. Hard game dat dota. Third game - Lina goes mid, and afks there. Fuck yeah. Fuck yeah Valve, amazing matchmaking. | ||

If you're playing around the border between high / very high, in terms of rating there will be almost no difference between the games, since both are played at effectively the same rating. Thus what you're experience can easily be chalked up under variance, which is huge in a game like DotA. An analogy from HoN would be that a player won't play with noticeably stronger players in a 1700mmr game, than in a 1699mmr game. And indeed, the opposite is not unlikely to occur, considering the nature of the game. However, if you're playing something like a page 1 game, there should be a noticeable difference between that and a game in "high". | ||

Sometimes I can get the biggest morons on my team in "very high" games... IE: Batriders that don't go blink dagger, etc. Its like, how do these kids get up here in mmr???? | ||

Game 1: I'm AM with a friend dragging my MMR down. Sniper runs off to safelane leaving me with Puck to support on suicide lane. Sniper does absolutely nothing with his farm (he literally buys ALL of his items in one go, as in he built a shadow blade when he hit 3k gold rather than buying half of it and making use of that half) and feeds as does DP. Nobody calls SS ever. Constant ganks coming into my lane (avoid a ton of them but zero farm as a result). Loss. Game 2: Friend has ragequit leaving me solo queue. Basically outpicked/outlaned everywhere this game. Meh, it happens. Moving on... Game 3: Venomancer. Viper crashes at start. Rejoins only to crash out again. Because of rejoin it DOESN'T count as an early abandon, instead counts as a loss. Their Broodmother drops out about 20 minutes in but it doesn't matter. 5v4 for way too long. Game 4: Templar Assassin. I do well early against their mid Invoker but our Luna apparently doesn't know how to carry. Clinkz and TA lategame vs Jug, PL, Invoker, Morphling. GG Game 5: ES. Forced to go solo bottom. Do semi-ok but whatever. Eventually win despite the enemy having more late carry because of godly farmed Nature's Prophet (final items: Power Treads, BKB, MKB. Daedalus, Satanic, Divine Rapier). Only win of the day. Game 6: WD. Forced to go mid. Leshrac claims solo bottom and feeds the hell out of Vengeful Spirit and Venomancer. 20 minute butterfly on Venge and a fast Shadow Blade plus half butterfly on Venomancer. Venomancer finished 12-1.
