This is a great idea, and should stay alive! 83 people in the game right now is ALOT, just join the chatroom, even if it is not enough for IH dota, finding a group of 5 would already be >>>>>> then pub solo queueing!

You could just join the TeamLiquid chat channel in game. A lot of people grouping up for matchmaking from there.

I remember playing matches that one team went 5 strong heroes and the other trying stuff, i dont really care since the level was indeed better than most pubs, but maybe just gather people and make 2 lobbies if we meet the quota.
1-for fun, trying things, cm with odd picks etc.
2-Normal CM mode, Aka "tryharding".

Idk. Was fun.

Yes, if we start again, we should establish before each game whether it is a 'tryhard' game or just for screwing around. That's one of the biggest problems we ran into with the previous IH's.

CD is not possible in Dota 2.

cd Captains Draft. 24 random heroes are selected. Then Blue and Pink take turns banning heroes, then picking heroes. Then the players on each team pick from their team's heroes.

cm Captains Mode. Blue and Pink take turns banning heroes, then take turns picking heroes. These heroes are then chosen by members of their team.
