[H]Rosewill mechanical keyboard not working

Hello tech savvy people,

I purchased a Rosewill keyboard about 1.5-2 years ago(This model: http://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Mechanical-Keyboard-Cherry-RK-9000BR/dp/B005QW1THA/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top). It's worked fine up until about a month ago. It started to disconnect and reconnect to my computer almost daily, it made the sound as if I was installing me software/hardware onto my computer. Last night it kept shutting off and turning back on, and this morning I went to sign in to my computer and I couldn't. The number,caps and scroll lock lights were all lite up, usually it would do that when it reset, then it would come back. I would usually have to mash keys and it would activate, I tried everything to no avail. Unplugged the keyboard, unplugged it from the computer, restarted my computer, re-installed drivers for it and nothing has seemed to work.

I even checked to see if my port area was destroyed because this is my 2nd keyboard from them, the first one i sent back within a month because the port somehow got pushed in(I never even moved the keyboard no idea).

If you have any solutions to this problem i'm all ears, considering i'm typing this on a $8 dollar dell dome keyboard that has a pound of dust and dirt on it, and I've sneezed at least 20 times just within typing this.

I've personally owned one of those Rosewill keyboards (I had cherry MX Blue) and I have to say, it was the most disheartening thing I have ever bought. Bought it brand new, it literally came out of the box broken. I contacted the store I bought it from and they didn't even have to hear the entire story before they gave me a refund. They even told me to keep the keyboard. I did some digging on the internet and found out that if you were to solder the wires from the Mini USB cable that came with it directly to the keyboard, it would solve the problem. I got a diagram of the USB pinout for the Keyboards PCB, soldered it on, and it worked like a charm.. for about 2 hours. Cut out again on me in the middle of a game of SC2 and I just said fuck it and went back to my old 6GV2.

Long story short, the Rosewill keyboads are made EXTREMELY cheap. The ports are flakey, the cables are stiff, and the solder that they used for everything on the keyboard is cheap. At least the 360 had to get hot to RRoD, this keyboard just dies Out of the Box.

It's a real shame too because the older ones from around 4-5 years ago were really good. Then when they rereleased them with that removable cable they steadily decreased in quality (it sounds like they're even worse now). I had one from one of the early batches of the rereleases, and it worked fine for around a year and then started disconnecting and having weird behavior with output (it would sometimes output two characters on one key press, and sometimes two different characters altogether).

I eventually replaced it with a Filco, which has given me no trouble at all and works peachy keen.

The thing is, the actual boards themselves inside of all of the Rosewill Keyboards are the same ones used in Ducky(? can't remember if Ducky or Filco) keyboards which are extremely high quality. The downfall is the cheap solder and poor design of the rest of the keyboard.
