Hi, I'm trying to stream Starcraft 2 (Everything on LOW) using Open Broadcaster Software on twitch.tv.
The stream is perfectly fine but my gameplay is choppy and I am unable to perform as well as I could.
My PC Specs are
i5-760 2.8 Quad-Core GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB 8GB DDR3-1333 RAM Windows 7 Home Premium x64
and once again all the settings on Starcraft 2 are on LOW.
I play on 1920 x 1080 while streaming on 1280 x 720 at 30 FPS. (Resolution Downscale)
Max Bitrate on OBS is 3500 kb/s.
Thank you in advance!

Are you using game capture? (as opposed to monitor capture etc)

If you're already using game capture.. What's your in game stats (fps, network spikes) and your upload bandwith? I'd try lowering your Bitrate to 2000-2500 kb/s.

Yeah the most important thing to figure out first is if it's your computer performance that's causing it (low framerate ingame), or your net performance (delay before orders are executed)

I started using game capture instead of Game Capture AND Window Capture so that helped my streaming performance a lot. Now I'm just wondering if I get a better video card, would I be able to stream on Ultra? Or do I need to upgrade my CPU while I'm at it?
Thank you for the replies!
Also, this is my internet connection.

It's likely that your 650ti is not at 100% load even on max settings.
Find a replay with a big, maxed fight, put max stuff out aside from physics + reflections off, effects medium - then check your GPU load while running through it
GPU will be at 100% load at start of game, but that hardly matters for performance in fights etc. My performance low vs max settings, as long as CPU settings are unchanged, is actually quite similar. I have a better GPU by a large margin, but CPU is also capable of running game at much higher FPS, so gpu has to be faster to keep up. Given your cpu+gpu, it wouldn't surprise me to see you not really gpu limited at all at times of low FPS
