it's difficult to cut more from that build than what's already been done, it's quite a bare bones build
maybe look at the AMD side of things
roughly, i think these are the performance tiers:
gtx 750 ti gtx 660 / R9 270 gtx 760 / R9 280 GTX 960
gtx 960 has the advantage of being very recent, so it's better supported by nvidia and has more features
i'd really try to just spend that $50
you can maybe get by with a slightly cheaper case (though it's not really recommended to go below a source 210) and maybe get an H81 board instead of a B85 board.
MSI H81M-P33 or E33. that should be a bit cheaper than a B85 board, you lose some case fan headers and stuff like that, no biggie
$50 for a capstone 550W is an absolute steal though, get that for sure 100%
E: you might be able to save $10 by getting a case like the Core 1100: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=94340&vpn=FD-CA-CORE-1100-BL&manufacture=Fractal Design&promoid=1139
it's smaller and not as good a case as the source 210. both come with a single 120 mm fans. the core 1100 will also lose drive cage support if you put a long card in
honestly though, for $40, I think the N200 is the best case you can get:
http://www.ncixus.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=84140&vpn=NSE-200-KKN1&manufacture=COOLERMASTER&promoid=1139
it's got a wider chassis (better airflow), it's only mATX but it comes with two fans. better bang for buck than a source 210, imo.

I think you guys pretty much have me convinced to just spend the extra $50 haha, I want it to get the job done especially for Dota2, SC2, D3, Minecraft, and H1Z1. As long as I can run it 1080p at 60fps ill be happy

Yeah, I don't think you'll regret it, the GTX 960 definitely hits a sweet spot in terms of price versus performance.
Another possibility might be looking at R9 280X, not sure about the US but they're well priced in France. That said I think you're better off with a recent Nvidia card. It'll be much easier to keep cool, the 960 that is.
Not to mention performance will only get better as more finely tuned drivers are released. Tahiti has been forgotten by AMD, in favor of Hawaii.

How am I looking performance wise for all the games I want to play?

Also you're stuck with 8GB of RAM unless you replace all of the RAM that you have with higher capacity RAM instead of just being able to add to it, because those super cheap boards have 2x dimm slots
You could take ~$30 off going to an r9 280, maybe a tiny bit elsewhere but it's pretty tight ;D

Link that works on desktop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.2207339
Worse CPU overall, especially for games chosen. IF you go with amd CPU then you'd go for the fx6300 or one of the cheaper 8-threaded sku's, but the niche for using them is not for a system playing those games.
worse PSU
memory is 1x stick, which would only run at half bandwidth of dual channel. It shouldn't really be in the combo like that but you don't have a choice when buying that combo
price is even marginally higher
other stuff (case, ssd vs hdd) can always be swapped out on other build that i gave, if you want a HDD and not SSD (or want to buy both)

Thanks for the info! I wasnt lookin tk buy it moreso just wanted to learn hence all the questions, I really wanna learn the differences between all the difference GPUs and mobos as well as when is it better to get AMD over Intel and vice versa since it really interests me

AMD isn't competing for performance or even releasing socketed desktop CPU's right now, no releases since 2012 and no released planned, though rumors of a q3 2016 release.
They have some parts that offer cheap multithreaded performance, but they lack single threaded performance which is very important for many games. Also all of their CPU's are unlocked, but you do need proper motherboard and cooling to run them at OC and sometimes even at stock speeds (they're a bit more adventurous about putting out a bunch of CPU's at various power ratings, but saying one board is only recommended for CPU's at/below 95w for example - while an lga1150 board fits everything with no exceptions aside from maybe the 4790k)
|
the only other reason to buy AMD is if you're at a sub 300 dollar budget and still want to do some light gaming (LoL, Dota, CSGO), in which case something like the amd 7600 is a decent price point for acceptable performance

This. SC2 runs so poorly on my FX6300, and it really hurts. I knew I should have gotten a Haswell i5/i7 but I simply couldn't afford that (and at the time I didn't need something quite as powerful as that).

Starcraft II doesn't benefit from an i7, an Haswell i3 or Pentium which is the same price or less expensive than an FX6300 would have still been better than the FX6300.

Sup everybody, looking to buy a new power supply since mine is now 7 years old and i need this old one to re-build my second build.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Intel Core i5 3570K (overclocked to 4.2Ghz) Ram: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z77-D3H GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Audio card: ASUS Xonar DX Audio Device
(This is the build ill be using the new power unit for)
My native resolution is 1920x1080, budget i would prefer to stay between 60-80 but i could up it a little if its worth it.
Thanks in advance :D

gm200 titan just got announced w/ 12GB VRAM, probably 1.5x shaders + memory bus of 980. Dropping the hammer :D
Cmon AMD!!!
Feel free to ask questions. Just for reference, here's my boilerplate: We have not announced any product details, specifications or pricing for TITAN X. Those details will be provided at the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference on March 17th.
12GB VRAM confirmed though
