Steelseries 6Gv2 problem

Hi, My Steelseries 6Gv2 keyboard is about 2 months old. And for some reason every now and then it will lock up and not respond. What happens is the num lock, caps lock and scroll lock lights all come on, and the keyboard doesn't work. It doesn't do it when its in use normally, but mostly when its just sitting there. Anyway only fix is to unplug it from usb and plug it in again. Other normal standard hp keyboard never had that issue. Anyway is there any fix or known issues about this?

This happens to my 6gv2 as well. It is 100% related to the USB connection (the wire is very sensitive and my keyboard will often lock up if I move it). I assume you're using the purple USB extender-thing on it? I just taped that purple extender tightly to the first part to make sure they stay connected.

Yeah try using the ps-2 adapter if you're just using usb.

Nah i just have the plain old usb plugged into the thing
