I have difficulties finding Ram for my old motherboard. I bought some ram (like 8gb) but they didn't seem to work as after I set them in my computer ceased starting. I put in efford finding suitable ram, but seeing that abit from my understanding no longer exists I can't find any informations on useable ram. Can someone please help me out and tell me what Ram I can buy that would work on my Abit 35 pro. Many thanks in advance | ||

Memory • 4x 240-pin DIMM slots support maximum memory capacity up to 8GB. • Supports Dual Channel DDR2 800/667 Un-buffered Non-ECC memory I would assume max capacity of 8GB also means a max capacity of 2GB per slot. Did you use a 2x4GB kit by any chance? | ||

Now I am not sure if the next time I buy ram it will work or not. I use win 7 64bit, currently 2gb ram, use the abit 35 pro and a intle core 2 duo 3ghz.
