Abyssus not Recognized by Razer Drivers

sob3k United States7572 Posts July 23 2012 20:44 GMT #1 Well, I finally bit the bullet and went out and got a decent gaming mouse and pad...really excited. But unfortunately immediately after downloading Synapse I ran into the issue of having it simply not recognizing the mouse. + Show Spoiler + This seems like it would be a common issue...but I cant find any forum mentions of tricks or whatever. I tried unplugging and replugging in various USB to no effect. The mouse works... should I just say fuck it and not use the drivers? Is there a disadvantage to that?

AC3 Canada337 Posts July 23 2012 20:54 GMT #2 I have had 2 Razer mice (DA and Abyssus) and never used this Synapse driver. http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=170&pcid=76&nav=0,76 is the link to the Abyssus drivers, seeing as you just got one you most likely have a 3.5G. You should have no issue using those drivers, although on the Abyssus there isn't too much you can change that isn't already on the bottom of your mouse. Hope this helps.
