Steelseries Xai- anyway to remove right buttons?

I love the xai, but even if I did use the mouse buttons, I would only use the ones on the left side of the mouse. The ones on the right side really annoy me as the mess with my fingers (with the way I hold my mouse). I'm always accidentally clicking them.

Any way to remove these? I've obv tried prying at them but have had no success lol. Maybe with a tool? Will it ruin the mouse if I do it?

I feel like I would like steelseries mice so much more if they didn't always have these right side buttons which don't get used by normal right handed gamers ><

Just disable those buttons in SteelSeries Engine.

Yeah, the Xai Configuration tool lets you disable any button.

Yeah I know. I meant that the actual buttons just annoy me. I've already disabled them but when I click them by accident it can mess with my accuracy in sc2 slightly. Hard to explain but i'de prefer it if they weren't there >.>

If they don't pop out, just put some gaffer tape over them. It will look pretty bad but could help. Maybe another mouse would be better though?
