Hi~
Currently i'm using Logitech G9X 1200dpi on 1920*1080 resolution
6/11 Windows mouse speed (No pointer precision)
51% SC2 mouse sensitivity
just feels perfect for me!
And i think i might get Zowie Mico mouse but it only has 400, 800, 1600 dpi settings. So I was just wondering, how can I make 800 and 1600dpi setting with Mico, feels same as G9X with 1200 dpi in the game?
Personally, I just wanna leave the default Windows mouse speed to 6/11.
Thanks!

open the program that the mico comes with assuming it does, and set the dpi levels to 400, 800, and 1200 you can do the same with the g9x as well..

Mico DOES NOT have a driver. You can't download too.

thinking purely in mathmatically terms, you can use 1600dpi turn windows sensitivity to 4. 1600dpi would cause you to move 33% faster, so im thinking lowering the windows sensitivity by that much will create the same effect.

4 Sens is 0.5x scaling, so effective 800dpi, but there are a couple of other issues with windows scaling, its not as good as hardware/driver

you are going to have to play with the sensitivity settings to get to what you want. I went from that exact setup with the g9x@1200dpi to a razor abyssus which only has 3 presets. I just tweaked the sensitivity til it felt close.

1200 *51% = 612
800*X%=612 X=76,5%
So if Im correct you should set your mous on 800dpi and 76,5% sensitivity in-game to have same mouse dpi but I might be wrong ^_^

I'm not exactly sure how SC2 handles its sensitivity but if its anything like windows you want deadpan center. You also want 6/11 windows sensitivity (Which OP values very highly, which is correct). The only real way to adjust sensitivity is to change DPI.
If the mouse doesnt come with an ability to fine tune DPI or a preset in the DPI range you like, it is probably a shitty mouse.
If pixel skipping or just generally a program poking your mouse around at odd times one pixel at a time doesn't affect you that much then just change the sensitivity in game. At least then you know about it.
EDIT: Regardless, it is actually way way more important to make sure your polling rate is at 1k or above. That is the big enemy.
Windows XP users have the advantage here because Windows 7 has Driver Signing so custom drivers only work while in test mode.

1600 dpi on the mico has some issues, i suggest you use 400 or 800.

Completely disregarding that sc2 skips in 5% "bars", and completely disregarding nonlinear scaling, you would also have pixel skipping etc @ >51-54% sens.
You are stuck with whatever DPI you can set on the hardware/driver if you want perfect tracking
