It has DVI and DisplayPort so not having HDMI is not really an issue. All video cards have DisplayPort and DVI at the very least so your desktop will work fine. If you want to hook up a laptop or console to it, use HDMI <-> DVI adapters or, in the case of a decent laptop, DisplayPort. HDMI is only really useful because you can output video and audio at the same time...since the monitor isn't an A/V receiver, the lack of HDMI isn't really a problem in my opinion. | ||

Realistically though, none of those numbers mean anything since even 12ms HP monitor, which doesn't have overdrive* like the others, fairs really well against the 1ms/2ms panels that have been tested with this benchmark. What matters is the overdrive application and this can be clearly seen with the Samsung and BenQ 120hz monitors. The Dell U2312HM is probably responsive enough for most people and it has crazy low input lag of around ~1ms. No idea how Dell managed to get input lag that low but its good enough for gaming. *AMD video cards can force overdrive to monitors that don't have overdrive functions. Mostly its fairly useless but apparently it works well with "slow" monitors like the HP in this test. | ||
