If you're lucky, you only need to change the PSU. If not, the ripple and noise have already damaged your other components. Why would you buy that atrocity?

Wow...that thing is one big fail =D Guess that's prolly where the problem is located at. Guess one should stick with the recommended PSUs

i can try that, i am using 2, 4gb sticks. and im avoiding the psu because i cant afford one :D hopefully i don't kill my comp in the process of changing stuff

I had the dumbest issue back in the dota days, trying to host. DMZ hosting would cause a restart after my comp had been on 30 minutes - 2 hours. I doubt that's related but maybe it is. It would give me a 15 second warning and then a big "FU" to the face unstoppable countdown (and get in trouble for being a leaver). That was with win2k and i haven't tried since I got a new comp.

The thing I never understood though, was that you could enable hosting, start a game, then toggle it off and usually everyone was still in the game.

i'm using 2 sticks right now, ran memtest for an hour and a half. ill try to find that setting

Yes I bought it when I was working full time, now I'm in college and I'm broke.
I don't think it's the power supply because I can run Crysis 2 and all kinds of stress tests without a crash.
I think it's driver related. Seems to crash when I make fast mouse movements.
