I've modded some fans before, never painted. So I can only assume that taking an entire fan apart to paint it and putting it back together will only be more headaches than it's worth. Even now, when I've been modding fans with LEDs to have an on/off switch for the LEDs for quite some time, it's still a good 20 minute process if I want it to look clean. And that's with me never actually having to take the fan apart in entirety. In my personal opinion, I have no idea why a Noctua fan was an extreme necessity since you could've gotten other fans that may have been more favorable to your liking for slightly less performance. Some may even be equivalent, I don't know. There are too many out there. Point is, unless you're using it on your NH-D14, it's kind of meh. Edit: Got ninja'ed. I was going to suggest rit dye, but really, you have to take it apart and put in boiling water. Do you really want to subject your expensive fan to that? It can warp and not soak all the way through, giving you some kind of crap color in between what it is now and what you originally wanted. Using vinyl dye paint is also not that great of an idea. In my experience, it never soaks all the way through and leaves an outside film. When you go to put your fan together (if you can even do that), all the parts might not fight back together.

So instead I'll do a google search for you. http://forum.overclock3d.net/index.php?/topic/35380-guide-on-how-to-change-the-colour-of-noctua-fans/ I don't know exactly what "Royal Blue Rit Dye" is but I've seen people dye their PBT keycaps with dyes and it comes out nice so I'm sure it's possible. Kinda wants me to dye mine...
