its really simple; turn down the volume or get a better mic Yeah I'll be investing a mic soon, I was just wondering for short-term fixes. + Show Spoiler + This is genuinely useless advice. Go look up iZotope, they make programs specifically for spectral repair/denoise/declick and so on. But this means you'll have to run some massive digital audio workstation to feed your audio through it. But that's kind of a brute-force approach. You could try teamspeak 3 which has an inbuilt background noise removal feature that works pretty well (it kind of over removes noise and it makes your voice sound a little bit flat, but overall it increases intelligibility). so uh, teamspeak 3 to replace skype, and iZotope's software + some DAW for your streaming. I was just looking for a program to run in the background while I get some money for a new mic. Looks like I'll have to put up with it ^^ Thanks anyway! : ) | ||

It's not. Most people need to simply turn off their mic-boost and turn up their recording volume. My boost is at +10db and I'm at 100% recording volume already. I can be heard fine but there's an annoying static noise :< | ||
