If this could be possible in windowed fullscreen mode, that would be great. I'm running on a GTX 460.
Playing at 1920x1080 on a 1920x1200 monitor?

Considering it took more time for you to come up with that reply than it would've to give a helpful answer, the only one with a problem is yourself ![]() You'll find the option under Display in the NVIDIA Control Panel

Either help or if it's against the rules let the mods deal with it. Lashing out at people won't improve anything.

With Starcraft 2 in particular, you gain a vision advantage by using 16x9. 16x10 was a very popular aspect ratio for PC's, it wasnt until 1080p media became mainstream that PC monitors swapped to 16x9 (Garbage IMHO, the more pixels the better TBH. Purely did this so they could stick 1080p on the box and make cheaper monitors for the same price). As a result, many people have 16x10 monitors, making the vision advantage a must for players looking to win. The vision advantage is quite significant. as seen Here: http://h8.abload.de/img/sc2_fov36k6.gif "Adjust desktop size and position" in Nvidia control panel advanced mode. Set scaling to "aspect ratio" AMD has a similar feature in CCC, but I believe the setting is "keep aspect ratio" and either stretch to fill. Enabling the stretch with aspec ratio forced will make resolutions like 640x480 stay 4x3 but stretch to your monitors height (black bars on the sides) or by going to 16x9 stretch the width with black bars on top and bottom.

Panda, can shiftwindow do custom resolutions on Windowed Fullscreen? On September 08 2011 14:47 DJFaqU wrote: Yes. Have you tried actually doing it? You'd be surprised, because it's possible. Is anybody even doing anything before asking stupid questions? Manual? Reading comprehension? No need to rage. Believe it or not, this isn't the first place I looked to find the answer to this question. I have disabled scaling in the nVidia control panel. I am able to play at 1920x1080 with black bars with the Fullscreen setting, but since I have two monitors this is not ideal. My question was if this was possible in the Windowed Fullscreen mode, because once you select that option, the resolution dropdown selector becomes unavailable and the game resolution defaults to the monitor's resolution. I don't want to have to change my monitor's resolution each time I play starcraft, since I can actually use its 1920x1200 resolution for other things when I'm not gaming.
