I got set at 3000 dpi and unchecked "Use OS built in drivers for the mouse pointers speed and acceleration" and speed is set at 1.
Speed in windows is set at 6/10. This gives me good precision I guess but is there any better precision settings?

Edit: No there is nothing more you can really do to enhance "precision rather than up the DPI but that becomes redundant at a certain level and your speed setting is more of a factor in terms of what you notice.

I've got the same settings as you except that I set my dpi at 1100.

Used to have a 1600 DPS mouse and had to throw sensitivity up a ton to get it to where I want it. Started with 2400 on my g9x, and moved up to 3200 to get it where I like in not only SC2 but TF2.
