edit: I think sites are solved, except twitch. latency to broadcaster/encoder about 50sec and puffer is always about 5-0 sec. video and audio are stagnating if puffer is on 0sec on any resolutions. Youtube works flawlessy on 720p. edit: same time, maybe I am 1min ahead. | ||

My computer works fine with a different graphics card (a beater 8600gt or something). My power supply is Corsair TX650W (bronze I think). When I plug in the Vega, the card fans spins for around 10 seconds and the fans stop after that, although the XFX graphics card lights are still on. I get no display. I suppose there are three distinct possibilities. 1) The card is defective (will try to verify this in a few days with a different computer elsewhere). 2) The PSU is under-powered/defective. It works fine with 8600 gt and a I5 2500K system, but adding a power hungry Vega is too much? 3)There is something wrong with the mobo bios settings (or perhaps drivers?) that is preventing sufficient juice to be delivered to the cards. Perhaps, cutting off the power because of power saving? I did try to reset the mobo bios setting by unseating the CMOS battery. My question would be: which scenario is most likely? And, how would I check/fix for scenario 3? Thanks for the help | ||

1080 is for a 4k setup, right? so you'll want a 4k screen (+120hz??) on top of that also what about this thundersomething usb port option or usb port c or whatever it is | ||

The specs are the following: Intel i5-8600K CPU Gigabyte Z370 HD3 motherboard MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GPU 2xVengeance LPX 4GB DDR4 RAM Silent Base 600 case Seasonic S12 II Bronze 620W PSU SK Hynix SL30D SSD Noctua NH-U12S cooler. We tried the following, none of which made any difference: 1) Change mobo standoffs 2) Rebuild the PC multiple times to ensure that cables are plugged in correctly 3) Boot without the GPU using the internal card on the mobo 4) Boot using only one RAM stick, set in different slots 5) Clear the BIOS by shorting the CMOS jumper 6) Remove the CPU cooler, re-apply thermal paste, ensure no thermal paste was anywhere but on the CPU Anyway have any ideas? | ||

 I figured if it was the PSU taking the 1050 off should make it work fine; I guess I can try pulling the one from my own desktop but yea that seems unlikely to me as well. | ||

If i recall correctly, that sometimes gives you evidence as to whether the CPU + Motherboard is working or not. In my case there are different beepcodes. | ||
