Maybe. Microsoft has a history of bypassing the HOSTS file for some domains that are Microsoft controlled. That's why there was some concern about privacy and the like. And things like this (at Ars Technica) suggests that's not the only thing they might do. (Describes Win10 bypassing proxy settings to phone home.)
There may be a way to do it with Windows firewall, but since I haven't updated to Win10 yet on my main PC I haven't looked into it.

Question: I play a lot of 2's in the SC2: LOTV, but after almost every game I get kicked from the party and have to re-invite my partner. Answer?

This looks like an in-game issue, do have any kind of connection issue? IIRC, when you suffer from poor connection and get reconnected like 30 seconds, you get placed back in the party.
If you do not suffer from any connection issue and this happens only during playing Archon or 2v2 with friends on party, you may need to open a ticket with support.

sometimes when I'm browsing this here internet, my mouse's scroll-wheel speed will go down seemingly at random. Is there some key combination I'm hitting or is it likely a problem with the mouse?
The change is drastic, from being able to scroll an entire page of posts on TL in a couple flicks of my finger to having to click and drag the scroll bar because it'll take me a minute to scroll with the wheel.

why is the time stamp in quoted text showing KST time and not the proper adjusted time?

It says that my harddrive got 349go left of the 1,31TO. When i select all my files on the harddrive i reach 300go, meaning i should have 1,01TO left. I'm just wondering what is wrong with my harddrive?

I imagine you mean TB and GB, not TO and go...
There are typically hidden files/folders on your harddrives, but I doubt it is amounting to that much space..
My only idea is about how you are 'selecting all the files', as you can only select on folder's files at a time. If i go to the root of a harddrive, and select all, it will only add up the actual files in that root directory, not the size of each folder (on windows anyway..)

You can download this little tool and it will show you exactly where all the used space is: www.jam-software.com - then you'll know which folder/s take the most space. I used it quite few times to check what exactly has been eating my HDD in the past.

At least 1octet=1octet no matter what, whereas 1Byte can be 7, 8 or 9 bits o:.

Under which circumstances is a Byte not 8 bits? What i do know is that drivemakers use different "k", "M", "G" (Actually the correct ones) than anyone else.

A byte is always 8 bits. However, a kilobyte is only 1000 bytes by HDD marketing BS (and a megabyte is 1000 fake-kilobytes, etc). To combat that, places have started listing KiB or MiB etc to mean 1024, while KB/MB is totally ambiguous.

In every occurrence ever relevant to him, it's 8. For HDDs, regardless of marketing or vendor, it's always 8.

Yes TreeSize is awesome, I have even bought this at work(for all features, since it's awesome).
There are programs which can create a huge file in C:\users\<yourusername>\Appdata\Local(or Roaming). Using the tool CaM27 mentioned will make it easy for you to check the biggest ones. Be wary that if you delete the full folder of a certain program, you will lose all your settings,maybe even save games or progress. Other than that, you won't "break" any applications by deleting folders here.

1 Byte is always 8 bits. The only systems that would have 7 or 9 bits as a byte are ancient. All current architectures are made standard in this way. 32-bit architectures read 4sets of a byte (always 8) "00000000 00000000 00000000 000000000", whilst 64-bit architectures read 4 sets of half of a byte (or octet..) "FFFF FFFF FFFF FFFF".
64-bit are able to use hexadecimals, which is why they are more efficient. one "FFFF" is fact "1111 1111 1111 1111" (which a computer reads as "65535").
The confusion about the term byte was because somewhere in the last millenium, there wasn't a standard yet and computers were new, thus everyone tried stuff out.The only reason this "fairytale" about 7 and 9 bits being 1 byte still exist, is because this is the internet and it is indeed a fact that once upon a time such systems existed, thus it is allowed to stay Wikipedia.

Since I bought my 290 Sapphire Radeon OC Edition a few months ago, from time to time (it varies between once/twice a day, from once a week), my PC just seems to faint, and both screens just go blank, but the PC keeps running.
When this occurs I still get sound for like 5 seconds, and then nothing, the sound goes dead.
What can be the cause for this?
It happens most when I'm just web browsing (facebook, twitch), and very very rarely while gaming, once or twice.
System Specs:
i5 4690k @3.50Ghz (Stock clock)
Z97 MSI Gaming 7
290 Sapphire Radeon OC Edition
650W Cooler Master GX
16 GB Kingston HyperX Performance @1666MHz
120 GB Samsung 840 evo
1TB WD Green
Everything runs fine, even gaming, CPU temps are cool.
