I switched to firefox because it's supposed to be new and fast. I'm using noscript but I can't get ads to run on the site. I want them to, because I want tl to get that dirty ad revenue. i've allowed everything so far, but it's a no go. :/

I got a random question, I noticed on reddit you need to confirm you are human before PMing someone, on TL there are some bots creating threads and being dealt with fast but nobody gets PMed by bots afaik, so why is there such a need to protect the PMs on reddit?

Probably because Reddit gets orders of magnitude more traffic and PMs are used a lot more than on TL.

Hey guys,

Can someone explain to me what the differences are between the screen mirror function on my (s4) phone and Chromecast?

I tought I needed chromecast to stream content from my phone to my pc (twitch for example) but the screen mirror funcion on my phone seems to do the job just fine?

Bandwidth isn't particularly important. It's about things like latency, packet loss, and stability. Games use single digit KB/s of data.

I had one that came with my player but it wanted me to pay for an upgrade to play so I sopped using it and somehow I uninstalled it.

Hi Guys!

For some strange reason whenever I OC my CPU, my pc needs like 2 or 3 reboots before I acutally get a signal for my monitor. Its only after a "cold" boot. If I set my CPU to standard, everything works. Thing is, my OC is stable. I've run multiple Programs to stress test, its just that he needs like 2 to 3 reboots now before my monitor actually gets a signal.

Anyone any ideas?

I have no idea, but it's kind of normal that the board needs longer for booting and that the time needed varies from boot to boot, so maybe the problem you have isn't completely weird. I would look at the RAM settings if you have overclocked that as well.

You could go visit www.overclock.net and search for the club thread that is about the kind of motherboard you have and ask there, or in the one or two threads that's about an overclocking guide for the kind of CPU you have.

I plan to buy this adapter for the headphones for my iPhone. It is a 4 pole adapter so I can still use the microphone. Does anyone know if the controls on the EarPods (play/pause, etc.) will still work with the adapter?

I don't know why you posted this list, but you definitely don't need those kinds of CPU coolers for this CPU here. They are only needed for overclocking. They are so much stronger than needed that they could keep the CPU cool without having their fans installed (just the general air flow through the case from the case fans would be enough). You should save the money and simply use the small Intel cooler that comes for free with the CPU in the retail box.

i bought a japanese DVD

i have no DVD drive

if i buy a cheap usb DVD drive that is probably UK or USA region , can i still play my japanese DVD? (ie access the files and copy them to my computar machine)
