That's an understatement. With a decent OC on his CPU and the GPU's, he could leave one of his 5.25 bays open to use as an Easy Bake Oven.
The other 3 are all solid air coolers, and decent on noise.

I like the HAF series for cases. Amazing functionally. Best bang for your buck. I recommend either the HAF 922 or the HAF X 942.

My friend got an 800D, he probably transplanted all his fans from his old case, and he does run an H70.
Damn. Now I'm reconsidering whether I should get one or not as I need to build a new machine soon.
Good call yo.

if you wanna stick with corsair, why not get the 650d? or the 600t and buy the new side panel thingy and stick 4 12cm fans in it lol

wow those are all kinda expensive. I like pretty much all the higher end cooler master cases. (i have a cosmos and i like it alot. super quiet and when i had air cooling was good flow. I now use liquid cooling so its a tad heavy. not the best for carrying around to LANs

Yeah I have an 800D personally and it was definitely meant to be running water cooling. The top vents are where you're supposed to put the radiator. The circuit is supposed to run on your cpu and gpu's.
Also this case is a HEAVY bastard. Its so massive and heavy its NOT supposed to go to lans. Apart from that its served me very very very well. I wouldn't change anything on it except the LED's on the front (fking bright as hell).
You need really really long PSU cables in order to reach the motherboard properly. I had to get extended cables to get everything to fit and it even came with an extended cable for the 12V.
Hotswapping out harddrives in the front is soooo convenient and nice.
Did I mention the fact that this beast is MASSIVE? yeah its massive (I could fit my old case inside of this if i took out the cages and innards)

@tsmitho The Ravens and Fortress are expensive for a reason, they're amazingly well engineered cases for both noise and thermal performance with solid build quality and good features.

i would get an NZXT case just because they look amazing (most of them anyway)

Didja know looks are subjective, whereas acoustic and thermal performance aren't?
He wants an air cooler, some of NZXT's cases fall flat there (H2, for example, being way too hot), and he may not like the looks.

No no no. Really high performance cases are expensive. You can get a decent case for much less, depending on specific features you want, it's just that if you want a quiet case with good air cooling, or some specific style, gimmick, or feature, you end up paying out the ass.

i'm a huge fan of the Coolermaster CM690 II Advanced. In my opinion it is the best cheap case there is.

Have you considered the NZXT Phantom? Looks pretty boss :D

Cases are a personal preference. Go for whatever that seems aesthetically appealing to you.

Gotta agree with uber, Antec cases are really good. I own two p180's and they are just terrific cases, built well, designed even better. Oh and not to mention, super-cool.

I would have a serious consideration of the Fractal Design R3! It's a great case if you only have that much tech to go inside of it, and gives you a decent amount of room for potential expansion
