Xsplit Audio Problem

Ok, i have looked at alot of other topics to make sure i was not repeating anyone. I have a problem when streaming with Xsplit where the audio on both my end and the stream has alot o crackling to it first i thought it might be my headphone so... i pulled them out, Nope same problem through the speaker on my monitor. This was a stream that i had to end really early because of this issue -http://www.justin.tv/mrsean571/b/286646955
Any help would be nice. I have isolated Xsplit to be the problem as when i have it closed no crackling . Looking forward to the replies. Sean

I think we have very similar problems SeanJa95. I too am getting sound issues when Xsplit is open. The in game sound seems to be fine but my microphone has static. This only happens when Xsplit is open (even recording in sound recorder). I made a short demonstration video explaining the problem further. Here is a link.

I really want to stream my Starcraft 2 Ladder games and so far the audio is just too distracting. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Also Seanja95, what sound card/audio program are you using? If we have similar ones maybe we can isolate the problem.

UPDATE!!! - I seemed to have found the cause to the sound crackling (static)!! In my sound manager (VIA HD Audio Deck) I had to change the Sample Rate to 44.1k and the Bit Depth to 16 bit. Before it was on 48k Sample Rate and 24 Bit depth (Under the Microphone setting). Also you must change these settings BEFORE you start your stream. Now my stream sounds great! The first song is Just too loud, I like Portal 2

This was mainly a Audio test this is why the mouse stays still for alot of the time, gonna follow your stream

One thing to note. The audio quality in the public beta 3 version is horrible now coming from the microphone. There is constant hissing and background noise when I enable (not even speaking) to the microphone. Switched many settings and nothing happened, like gain, level, quality, bitrate, etc. Rolled back to the previous xsplit version and the hissing went away. Anyone else?

Edit: I fixed the problem. Maybe this will help others. I have two microphones, the headset and the webcam one. Before today, Xsplit had the headset one as primary. After the update to the version of Xsplit (Beta 3) there was hissing and background noise because the software was taking feeds of the webcam mic and mixing them up with the headset. Even xsplit had the webcam mic enabled and set as primary. I reverified and made sure that the headset mic was on the Xsplit settings and forced mute the webcam mic. Problem solved!
