Upon Patching the SC2 Updater (SC2 Tools update for future patches supposedly) I receive this;
Error Report: + Show Spoiler +The patch "pc-battlenet-hdfiles\Support\Battle.net.dll" could not be applied. (MD5 mismatch: expected 0x2FE4E170809E27E16BD727897C52EDC6, actual 0x8DA0B2B0F9B4E1B496D94F4F2BC68410.)(PTCApply_BSDiff failed.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (BNUpdate: TCApply)
Has anyone ran into this problem?

Did you already reinstall Starcraft2? I guess it should fix the problem.
|
No. I understand that I could do this but, I was just curious if anyone had this error and was able to update without reinstalling.
|
Well I tried to find a solution with google but everybody told the OP to reinstall the game and it always worked.
|
I have this problem too, have you been using the relocalizer tool? Cause i suspect it having something to do with it.
#edit: just saw the date now (search duh), and im sorry, but still does anyone have this problem with the live ptach?

My client keeps crashing, it starts without an error, the raynor's screen comes, and 1 second after the login screen appears it crashes without any message, anyone with this problem after updating 1.3?
edit: sorry this thread is pre-patch, but i didn't think opening a new thread is worth it

delete/backup all files (NOT THE FOLDERS) except "starcraft ii.exe", "starcraft ii editor.exe", and "starcraft ii public test.exe" from program files\starcraft ii\
(ie all the sc2-xxxxx files)
run repair.exe from program files\starcraft ii\support
run starcraft ii.exe to re-download and install the latest update
worked for me.
