as with OCing, think it depends on the luck of which card you get. some will be completely stable after unlocking, some will not. | ||

I agree with lqd though--the bigger concern is disabled shaders being defective. | ||

The point being brought up is that the HD 6950 has 6+6pin (225W upper limit in theory), while the HD 6970 has 6+8pin (300W upper limit in theory). | ||
