Flash started with his Logi optical mini, yes. the low dpi isnt an issue. got myself a logi g1 and a logi optical and playing with win7 speed 6 and sc2 52.

SC2 mouse sensitivity overrides the windows sensitivity settings. For example if you have windows set to 6/11, and %62 in SC2, the latter is used and the former is ignored.

52 should be very near if not exactly 6/11.

So I'm looking to buy either the Steelseries Kinzu V2 Pro or the Sensei Raw.
I've found the Kinzu for £33 and the Sensei for £40.
I know the Sensei is technically the better mouse, but I'm coming from using a random wireless awful mouse, so would I even notice any difference between them?
I spend quite a lot of time gaming casually, playing Starcraft 2 and Counter-Strike, and general PC use.
So would it be worth spending the extra money on the Sensei if I doubt I would really recognise the difference and am coming from an awful mouse?
I know it's only £7 but money's tight! But if it's really worth spending the extra for the Sensei then I would be willing to.
Thanks.

No experience with the Sensei but I hate the Kinzu V2 Pro; it has stiff buttons and glossy top. Its sensor is bad for FPSs too. I'd definitely go for the Sensei.

What mouse do you guys think is better for sc2,league,dota 2 Tt Azurues or Logiteh G400,i found i am in need of a new mouse and i stumbled upon a sale where both of the mice are at the same price but i cant decide between the two. need to discern your grip style first, that will tell you which mouse will be "better". Well i have the "claw" grip style also i like to lift up and move my mouse arround alot so id like it to me light and to have a comfortable thumb grip.

Hey guys, I'm on the market for a new mouse.
My grip style is claw; as I found out after long usage with my old edition Mamba - it simply wasn't comfortable after long hours of use. My old mamba sensors are now failing on me as it regularly stops responding for periods (albeit short) at a time.
I primarily only use the standard mouse buttons + the thumb buttons of the Mamba and would like to keep it that way. I don't mind more, but so far that's all I've adapted to.
I have sweaty hands at times, and so prefer a soft matte feel.
I live in Australia, so certain consumables such as the R.A.T 9 batteries are inaccessible for me.
My list of possibilities: - G9x --> I've actually tried two and had to return both as the grip I wanted to use kept on initiating the side/thumb buttons (rough/coarse standard grip). I liked the feel of it though. - SteelSeries Sensei - Have heard good things about this mouse - Cyborg 7 - http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=24&bid=2&sid=96506 (My supplier of all computer products has this with the moniker MAC. Is this specific to Macs?) I like the idea of being essentially completely customizable. That said, I have heard this mouse is quite heavy, which is somewhat of a turn off. - Roccat Kone - Have heard of jittery sensors. Is this a common issue? - Corsair M60/M90 - different mice I know, but they both seem quite viable. The above 4 are my primary selection range, but the Corsairs I threw in there since they look like they would be quite comfortable and would do what I need it to do.
I've really only used the Mamba in wired mode, since I kept on forgetting to charge it. I have no particular aversion to wireless.
My DPI is set to 1200, and likely won't go up too much.
Help guys!

He,
I'm Also coming from a Mamba, switched over some months ago to the sensei and i'm in love ever since. Great preformance overal (sensor), also the clicks feel just great to me :D they make a mechanicy sound (i like.)
I surely recommend you the sensei, i think its overal the same size as the mamba, so that shoudn't be a problem. If you want a matte, you should go with the sensei Raw (without lights and such) and rubbery coating.
Also most people (myself included) use the Gx9 shellles, which is probably one of the smaller gaming mouses around. Also it uses the same sensor as the sensei as i'm correct? So preformance wise there very close to each other.
So its up to you you like a smaller mouse? Choose the Gx9 (shellles) want a bigger (matte) mouse; Sensei Raw
I personally whould choose for the Sensei, but thats just a matter of personal taste.

Hey guy's I'm pretty much in the same situation as Ethreal, Claw/fingertip here. I'm coming from using the Microsoft Wheel Optical Mouse, which I've been using for maybe half a dozen years now. I'm leaning towards the Sensei RAW for it's similar, ambidextrous shape or the M60. Thing is, I've heard that the Senseis have acceleration issues. Are they really that noticeable? I'll mainly be playing Dota 2, WoW, and FPSs like CS:S, BL:R, and BF3.

If you are a low sens gamer then you may find that the inconsistent acceleration curve on the A9500 a little off putting. If you play at 1200 CPI or higher the acceleration will be far less noticeable, but of course a lot of this depends on whether you can even discern these things in the first place.

Well in-game for CS:S I have sensitivity set to 5.00. It takes. 19.05 cm to make 360 degrees.

no, since I use the same setup.

I'm limited in options in my country and my search lead to me to these 3: Gigabyte M6800 @ 14$ Gigabyte M6880 @ 18$ Gigabyte M6900 @ 25$
They are on the budget side but I was wondering if you can help me choose between them. They all have kind of the same grip so that's not a factor, I play fps games so I'm wondering if any of the updates makes sense?

I would personally NOT go with Sensei RAW, but rather just Sensei or the MLG version. Simply because RAW (matte/glossy) are the cheaper/crappier version of the sensei. Their feet were made of cheap plastic and so are the side buttons. With the glossy version, if you have sweaty hands, it will start getting slippery and lose grip. Overall, that's pretty much Sensei RAW is cheaper than Sensei and not really worth the money. If Steelseries were still selling Xai, it would have been my first choice before the Sensei. Because they stopped making Xai, I had no other choice but to upgrade to the expensive Sensei and they both feel the same, except that Sensei is just a fancier version of it with lots of pimpin'

The feet are the same. The difference is that you don't get fancy lights or a CPU in your mouse, 'exactaim/exactlift technology' that nobody needs/wants anyway, and that you pay 30€ less for the same mouse.
Also the RAW weighs 10% less than the sensei.

He uses it for Battlefield 3 and other games, and although he was always a scrub he's now less of a scrub if that helps you decision? xD
