On the subject of wireless peripheral, I just started using my Logitech G602 more and more now that my previous mouse (a Mionix Naos 7000) is starting to become broken (the scroll wheel doesn't always click, and I use that all the time) and I cannot tell a difference between wired and wireless, even in the Endurance mode. Granted, the games I play these days is not exactly high-action games (Hearthstone and strategy games), but still.

On the bright side of things of my Mionix mouse dying, I know have more macro buttons to use (which is super useful for productivity stuff)

With a 60hz screen, a max polling rate of 500hz and a malfunction speed of 2m/s the experience is not going to be amazing for mouse games either way

So... can you guys recommend some alternative to Deathadder? Similar in terms of ergonomy.
I've been using first edition DA for years, but last year the left button went to hell so much I decided to buy new one. Chroma edition. And man, the left click issue is driving me crazy as it gets worse and worse. It's not only double clicks - sometimes no clicks at all (even tho you hear the click) and obviously I can't even drag and drop something without trying bunch of times. FFS.

Thinking about using my warranty, selling that crap and buying something different but "same". Shoot me with your propositions, as I mentioned, I love the ergonomics/shape/size of DeathAdder so if there is something close to it I'd like to hear about it. Thanks!

Could give FinalMouse a go. Logitech 403 if you're into wireless mice.

I recently tried the G403 at a local store but did not like how the right side is tapered (I found it harder to lift/grip). I think ambidextrous mice with the SS Sensei shape works best for me. Does anyone have any experience with the DM1 Pro S? Some reviews say there is sensor rattle, a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on this but the shape is so perfect. I also consider no software driver a huge plus.

You can get the Nixeus Revel at Amazon.com for a similar price, and at least the white version seems be on offer from Amazon themselves and not third-party seller so is under Amazon's customer support. That Nixeus Revel is also inspired by the SS Sensei shape same as the DM1 Pro S.

I got a g pro!

seems good, the material on the mouse shell for grip is nice and the shape (g100s-like) makes the g303 look and feel silly

have played with it a little but can't do more at the moment due to an injury

I'm also trying out the G Pro but I can't get used to it. The slight slope on the sides of the mouse inwards is killing it for me. Stupid Logitech braided cable aint helping matters either. Using a super airy light fingertip at 800 dpi, like I once did with the MiCO (because I simply can't grip the mouse with a proper fingertip grip, I have no way to move it with the way the mouse it shaped). Maybe I'm just unused to it or my delving into gripping mice a bit more tightly has changed me but I just can't do it. I mean I can play with a bunch of vaguely accurate boxes at speed but click an individual moving zergling at 800 dpi even? No chance. Wouldn't have had a problem with that even at 1600 DPI on some of the other mice I've used.

Unfortunately I can't use my preferred FK2 either because the clicks are too stiff for SC2, while I love it in CSGO I still want a good SC2 mouse. I tried to use the FK2 for a long time in SC2 but I just hit a barrier where I can't play faster because of needing to press the mouse buttons excessively hard.

Also played around with the G303, Revel, EC2-A.... so yea my muscle memory is in the toilet these days. Need to decide on something permanently. Currently literally switching mice schizophrenically multiple times per evening. I'll update the post in a few days, gunna stick with the G Pro longer, maybe it will just click. Just annoyed because a thin cable + non rounded sides and this wouldn't even be a contest.

It took me a very long time to get up to feeling like I have full control over the mouse with the G Pro. It was several weeks of using it a lot.

I came from the G303. With the G303 I never felt lacking in control. With the G Pro I was regularly noticing that I should have been able to hit something or track something but it was just impossible to do. This never happened with the G303. I still kept using the G Pro despite that annoyance because it was better for my hand. With the G303's shape, my attention was regularly pulled towards the mouse in my hand. It wasn't pain or anything serious but something just felt off. I think the problem was that there's just one single way to grip the G303, and while that grip was super good for control, the hand just would have liked to not use the exact same grip all the time.

The problem with controlling the G Pro was one day suddenly gone. That was after perhaps two or three weeks of using the mouse. The problem came back playing while being very tired but that also fixed itself after another week or so.

^very similar feelings here :D

Switching even sensitivity multiple times per evening has never worked out well for me, swapping mouse is a much bigger change. It takes me literal days to judge a 10% sensitivity change properly.. it may seem ok for some games but falls apart when i try to go through the usual osu/fps benchmarks without muscle memory being right.

There's actually been a new revision of the g pro right after i bought mine AFAIK; different coating, a bit thinner cable etc. If it's important to you and you don't want to change the cable yourself then you might be able to swap it out for a new version

I've had the G pro for a while because I was very hyped for it, however put off using it initially because I was playing WoW a lot, where I really needed my middle click (which is so bad on this mouse ). Probably have the original one and I doubt I can swap it out at this point. I got mine 11th of October from Amazon, S/N 1628

Really not feeling it with this mouse at all, just cant grip the thing with its shape + slippery coating. Probably will go back to the FK2 and go for the Mastermouse S next year. Always disliked Logitech, such a massive advantage in resources and technology and they always mess up the most basic things.

It gets a lot more stuff right than most mice, IMO. There's so many things that are not bad or broken in some way that are not obvious until you try to use any other mouse that doesn't have them and it doesn't work well.

What type of grip are you trying to use?

Tastes are different so they can't actually get it right for everybody with different preferences in the same mouse. I think logi is doing pretty good all around right now, lots of companies failing to compete well and the g pro is about as close to the perfect fingertip mouse as we'll ever get (aside from some slight revisions)

Mostly I use whatever grip the mouse was designed for, I've used enough mice I can palm, claw and fingertip fine, especially in FPS, from MiCO's to Deathadders and Rival 300's. However for RTS I feel uncomfortable doing anything but fingertip, I just can't play as fast as I'd like without fingertip. The mouse I'm most comfortable with atm is the FK2 with fingertip for RTS or fingertip or clawgrip for FPS (not a hybrid, can just do both and switch between them arbitrarily).

However for the G Pro I'm just at a loss. I can't get accuracy from the back because of the shape and texture. I can claw it a good bit better but a G303 is better for that. I saw your initial video, not entirely sure where you're putting your ring finger and pinkie but we have a similar way of holding the mouse generally, at the back fingertip. That works fine for me with the FK2, even with the G303 its a lot better than the G Pro.

Still, whatever. I'm committed to giving this a full try. I'll keep working at it. Not super optimistic though, not the first mouse with a curved side that's just stumped me, the original abyssus was exactly the same for me back in the day. Plenty pleasurable enough for some vague boxing, but not reliable for headshots/clicking on moving lings etc. With the slippery sides, the curved edges and the annoying inconsistencies of a braided cable, it honestly feels like the mouse is trying to throw my hand off it while playing. Then I have to grip so hard to keep the thing under control that my fingers hurt.

I play 800 dpi in CS, 1600 in Quake/etc and in SC2. I have a zowie camade. How are you holding it on the right side of the mouse, thats what really gets me (well except for the cable, the cable makes me want to kill a puppy). Giving it another week and if I've not closed at least half the decrease in accuracy I'll give it up. So see you in a week ^^. Using Cube 2 Sauerbraten as my reference atm, getting about 40% accuracy with the G Pro atm while not taking many shots id be confident with. Normally sitting 60% with a lot more optimistic shots.
