Even the EC1-A is still smaller than the IME 3.0 Never used the Deathadder, but a quick google/youtube search shows that the EC1-A is probably closer to it in size.

I've used a ton of different ones, but the ones that jump out since recent times are the Logitech G303, Zowie EC1-A/EC2-A and the Zowie ZA13 (bit small, ordered a ZA11). I tried the Zowie FK1+ (their latest one) and the sensor was bugged a bit.. It felt like it had to drag itself through mud before it started tracking properly, like.. you swipe and it would hang a bit and then it would start tracking properly and it also suffered from ghosting (tested this on a SteelSeries QcK Heavy mousepad, a SteelSeries Dex mousepad, a Qpad UC 90 Pro and a Zowie GTF-X mousepad which is the one I always use and the sensor malfunctioned on all of them, so I threw that one away. That's a first time for me though, never experienced any problems with any Zowie mouse (and I've been using Zowie since the very first Zowie EC1-A (white coating and the sensor that was known for the prediction it had). The shape itself was nice, if you like a mouse that is less bulky I should say (like the EC1-A/EC2-A), the FK1+'s shape is definitely recommendable though I did NOT like the scrollwheel (huge difference with my old ZA13 & EC2-A). Also, a piece from the plastic from within the sensor "hole" seemed to stick out a little bit, like not even 1mm but I could swear it actually hit the mousepad so I don't know what's up with that, so if anyone would ever think of buying the FK1+, check it immediately and test it thoroughly, my bet is I just had a faulty one (the first one in 5 Zowie mice I've owned so far). The Zowie ZA series however, beats the other 2 series for me personally.. Forgot I had bought a Zowie ZA13 like a long time ago, using it right now, even though it's perhaps a bit too small for me but I love it, it works better for me than my EC2-A and my Zowie FK1+ (obviously lol), even prefer it over the Logitech G303 and I love that mouse too, but it's a hit or miss with the shape like trifecta said (1st comment on this page). Surprised to see the ZA series being mentioned so rarely though as I think it's amazing, the shape as well, but you just really need to know which one you want exactly because the ZA13 is small, the ZA12 is medium and the ZA11 is very f'ing large, like, probably the largest one of em all across the whole line with FK & EC series included or at least that's the impression I have (held one in my hands before I decided to order it), probably because of its renowned bump at the back for the palm, which personally suits me very very well. I do miss the white coating though, was the best coating for me personally but they ditched it for a reason unknown to me. *sadface* Nice to see riotjune actually quoting me there (this is peculiar btw, just logged in through my twitch account) even though those comments have to be buried many pages back lol

Never thought I'd describe MICO as ginormous! Even though the height difference is only 2mm according to this chart, the hump made MICO almost an inch larger, and it's hurting my wrist. The measurement is deceptive imo. I have both mice side by side, and the difference is far more noticable than the numbers indicate. Is there a way to fix or replace the button switch on the Salmosa? If not, anyone know of a similarly flat mouse that isn't too much longer? Wider is okay. I prefer wired mouse, but willing to take wireless with bad battery life at this point.

You might wanna have a look at the Zowie FK (FK1/FK2/FK+), no drivers needed etc.. which is always a big +. I though the Logitech G303 felt more or less flat as well so.. So many options out there, can't possibly list them all but only those we've had some experience with ourselves I guess. Edit: Just looked up the salmosa and honestly it makes me think of the G303 when I look at it, dunno why but yeah.. Have a look at the Logitech G303. Also, the only acceptable thing being wireless should be a headset, for the rest, wires ftw.

Yea the length of G303 seems too long on the spec sheet, but it has a weird diamond shape, which probably skew the measurements. I'll go check out this mouse as the local BestBuy/Target carries them. (well Target has G302, same shape anyway) Another mouse I did like was the Logitech MX Anywhere. Sadly it's wireless and eats batteries like teenage boys at buffet. The MX Anywhere 2 has a micro-usb port, but I'm not sure if it can be used as a wired mouse or the port is there for charging only. Most cheaper Logitech wireless mouse are too 'humpy', despite their overall tiny size. I gave away an M325 because of that steep rear hump.

I fixed double-clicking on two different mice through oiling the switch with some sort of sewing-machine or gun oil. I put a drop of the oil on top of the switch, then clicked it with the tip of a screw driver for a minute or so until the oil had mostly disappeared into the insides of the switch.

Gives the problems you described.
