The shape seems good to me, they considered many ways one woul hold the mouse and you can actually rearrange the side buttons between left and right, also no stupid snipe button at my thump. Its noticably lighter than my g502 and still has that nice scroll wheel that i can unlock for scrolling. To me the wireless function seems to work really well, but im not a osu player, no idea if wireless delay would be noticable, it isnt for me. its only weakness to me right now is ambidex which makes it slightly less comfortable to hold, but i guess if you want to sell a mouse like this yoiu need every sale you can get, no leftie discrimination lol

One, the grip is extremely slippery. If your hands are dry, you might have a tough time holding onto the mouse. This bothers me a lot. I wish they had added some rubber grips on the sides. Two, the battery life is pretty poor. This is to be expected though since it's so light. However, I do find it annoying that I have to charge it about once every 2-3 days. It might last a little longer since I try and charge it whenever the battery goes down to a single red bar. Having a cordless mouse with this sensor and this weight is incredible though. Battery life aside, if they just added a better grip on the side, it would be the perfect mouse. Assuming you can afford a $200 mouse.

I played on lowest DPI for it which was 800 but then adjusted stuff in-game. Probably was closer to 1200 DPI in-game. I've used a few different mouse types/companies in the past but was wondering what people would recommend for $40-$60 range (+/- $5). After looking a bit at some of the charts I've narrowed it down a bit between the Razer Salmosa, A4-tech x710, and TT esports azurures mini. Any thoughts?

Anyway, I decided to do a little research and ended up buying the Mionix Castor. The main reason I went for it was the weight and size, which are similar to the Deathadder. I must say, I couldn't be happier. The shape and weight are perfect, drivers are great (no Razer Synapse tragedies), and it looks great. Definitely recommended.

Since it's my second deathadder, i 'll consider changing. Is Optical really different than laser ? Are the new deathadder still dying after two year ? What would you advise for a deathadder replacement ? - Same dimensions - ergonomic - Two side buttons. My wife have a SteelSeries Sensei. It's roughly the same dimensions but i don't really like the grip. (but i play on deathadder since a lot of yeears).

there's only one time i could claim that it was wear and tear and that was when demon hunters were kind of hard to play in d3 and there was a lot of kiting involved. RMB stopped working after a while.

1. What's your grip style? Fingertip/Hybrid 2. What's your sensitivity? DPI varies on game to game, but RTS can be between 1.1k-2000 DPI on 51% Sens (SC2) 3. What's your maximum budget? £60 (Pref lower) 4. Do you want additional buttons? Pref not 5. What games do you play? SC2 WC3 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Pref not 7. Other relevant information: I have pretty small hands 18cm Length, so preferably a mouse that comfortable for a fingertip style with that size hands (I'm currently using a Logitech G600 from my WoW days.) I've been looking at the Steel Series Kinzu and Razer Abyssus but have witnessed reports for both mice with problems regarding the sensor (which is important for me as I consider myself more of a micro player) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks TL! =)

Sensor quality best to worst it's: g303 (best sensor on the market afaik) g302 (worse sensor, mostly good but the maximum tracking speed may not be adequate for some lowsens FPS players) g100s (generally solid but limited DPI options, low max tracking speed for FPS gaming etc IIRC - see some reviews - one of the best lightweight mice, which is why i list it) g302/303 shell is generally considered not to be great (quite hit or miss depending on the specifics of hand size and grip, hard to predict), cable isn't perfect, there's an issue with the sensor wobbling a tiny bit and rattling inside of the shell with some fixes of varying quality, LOD (lift-off-distance before tracking stops) is very low on the 303 and maybe 302. I'm using a 303 because there's not much better out there but i do have my eyes on a replacement some day rather than hoarding 10 of them for the future

I'm pretty sceptical of the 303's shape. Even though I understand there's no such thing as a perfect mouse, just noticed the Zowie EC2-A and FK2 are available from Novatech. I might look at trying to get one of them =)

I can't really play sc2 right now so I can't say if I would have overcome the stiffness of the buttons making splitting marines a bit more difficult (the succession of left and right clicks) than with my old setup. On League of Legends I didn't notice much difference in performance between the two setups.

The clicks are not stiff (to me at least) and I can't imagine people not being able to play games such as StarCraft with this mouse just because of the mouseclicks, they're absolutely fine. The mouse IS very big though, so if you don't like a big one in your hands, stay away from it because it's really massive, you might think the EC2-A is big enough, the EC2-A feels like a kinzu compared to this one. ![]()
